When I first started playing magic, there were two things, two aspects of the game, that I loved: Vampires and Killing my opponents creatures. My first two 2010 deck builders tool kits were thankfully both full of these things, and thus was the start of this deck.
Is it the best deck ever? Of course not. Its not even "good".
Does it let me do what I love whilst playing? Hecks. Freaken. Yes.
However, I also enjoy winning, and thus hope you, the denizens of this site, can help this deck achieve its full potential.
My funds are (very) limited, so I hope to post in the side/maybe board what cards I have already and then choose (and get advice on) the best 60 ( I tend to have trouble keeping it down) from that point. Everyone in my area plays legacy, so keeping it standard is not an issue. Just to clarify, my sad sideboard cards are those I sometimes put in depending on what deck im facing. My maybe board is a bunch of black cards I actually own. If you see anything that should not even be in the running, let me know, as I just put it all up so I know at a glance what I have to work with (now that i wrote it out I can copy it).
"Update": Hopefully going to a game store this Friday and thus going to standardize this deck...
"Update": Brothers got some new cards and we had a tradefest with a bunch of local players at a nearby library. Got some new cards and did a lot of play-testing with my brother, Kravian, and his [Another Ally another win condition] Deck. Tell me what you think of the changes!
"Update": Went to a Magic gathering at a local game store and had a great time playing and trading. Let me know what you think of the changes. (Finally have 4x Vampire Nighthawk !!!!!!!
"Update": So, changed some stuff up, got some new cards, and trying to work out what the best configuration for my deck is with what I have. Thats where I could use some major help. Looking at what I have on main, side, and maybe board, what should be where? If the Tappedout community could help me with this, it would be great, as soon I will be home with 2 of my brothers who also play magic, and we will all be attempting to beat the crap out of each others decks. One brother usually runs a 4 color U/B/W/G ally deck (another ally, another win condition), while the other runs mono blue control, white soldiers, and goblins. (not sure what other decks the ally brother will be packing). So, any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks.
Update
Trying to make this into a deck based on Kalastria Highborn, Blood Artist, Viscera Seer, and Bloodghast. Only problem is I need 4x copies of all those, and I don't have that "yet". However, still a fun deck.
