Sideboard

Maybeboard

My Goblin Deck. Pouring over Gatherer, I decided the best approach to building a goblin deck was two-fold:

swarm

buffs

The first approach is all about making tons of tokens and using them to do damage or sac'ing them for damage. The second is based on making decent numbers of tokens and buffing them with instants - getting the element of surprise. To do the former, go with this deck as built, to switch things up (once everyone has seen the first approach in action), swap the sideboard in and pull the maybeboard out.

My actual maybeboard is in the works and I think I'll just put it in the comments.

First time out, this deck made two swings and executed two opponents (the first for 63 damage, the second for 178 damage). The first opponent out did not see it coming and spent the rest of the match laughing as the second opponent had a Hamletback Goliath with a power of 189, flying, and trample - but was completely locked-down by my Chaosphere and Goblin Caves (which meant his power was useless before my hoard's toughness). Everyone was laughing at the Cold War escalation to the finishing blow, which is the point, right?
