Trakanon, chill man. I think that most of us realize it's a joke.I have been thinking of showing up at my local FNM with this deck just to have a laugh and to see how many times I can win with .None probably, although 1 win would be great and 2 would be heroic.

I think you need to add some Merfolk of the Depths to really take advantage of that new simic synergy. Flash those sweet suckers down at the end of their turn and watch them weep tears of inky blood. I run the full 5 in my FNM deck, and i don't even play UG!

WhiteKnights needs to explain what this does if isn't a troll deck, which im pretty sure it is. Honestly, it looks like a bunch of random crap. Sorry :/

I'd use 1 plains, and 4 Arctic Aven s, since they could become 3/2 fliers. I mean, it's not like this deck lacks fliers, in the form of Marrow Bats , but that little extra bonus, plus the lifegain could help you until you get out your fatties in Marrow Bats . I'm happy you took my Razortip Whip suggestion also. It's a same Razor Boomerang has rotated out, ince it has heaps of synergy with Aquus Steed . Is he going to deal 1, or -2/-0 your guy? It makes the opponent really think before they rush into attacking, and it also takes out heaps of meta threats like Falkenrath Aristocrat , Blood Artist and more!

You've highlighted some very good points. I would just like to reiterate on what you said about making your opponent think. I think you've all realized that this deck has a ridiculously high skill ceiling to play effective and its reflected in the choice of cards in the deck. Being a good player means playing psychologically, mentally, emotionally, intellectually physiology, scientology and having a good deck. Boom this deck has it all.

If you look on gatherer, the cards that are rated #1 by the communtiy in standard right now are Bountiful Harvest , Grounded , Zombie Goliath and Primal Visitation . I would strongly consider the latter two options also since they provide some good buff and powerful bodies.

whiteknights, have you considered Leyline Phantom ? He's just a HUGE drop that makes opponents scoop half the time.

Omg, this is the most OP deck I have ever seen in my life! Like most of those cards should be banned just for being in this deck, that's how amazingly op it is. You could easily be the world champion with this.

Looking at my merfolk deck on tappedout, very amused (after getting over my initial frustrations, lol) that this deck is the 2nd highest ranked Merfolk deck on the site!! congratulations, mate
