...DON'T TOUCH IT!! This is a Tribal Noble deck that I recently built and acquired, based quite loosely on the ever-inspirational Spinning Webs of Fear. This deck also utilizes the Arachnus Spinner
+
Arachnus Web
combo to great effect, although I tried to keep mine a little more tribal and moved away from instant juicing to long-range counters, per my meta. The uncommons are Alpha Authority and Curse of Predation. I had a few commons lying around, but the total cost to me was $11, proving once again how budget-friendly Noble can be.
Card-by-card strategy is as follows:
Creatures:
Arachnus Spinner
: The big bad noble, this guy keeps my foes' dudes tied up with webs. Also, when Rancored, he tramples through foes to victory, especially with Alpha Authority.
Deadly Recluse
: Deathtouching chumpblocker with reach. Just TRY to get through. Occasionally used to block something that's not quite worth it to trigger
Hunger of the Howlpack
's morbid ability.
Juvenile Gloomwidow
: Chumpblocker that is second-string to the Recluse. This guy comes with wither, for
Arachnus Web
support.
Penumbra Spider
: Plenty of toughness and naturally renewable through token spawning. This guy is fun to resurrect with
Evolution Charm
for 4 bodies total.
Blightwidow
: Infect for an alternate victory against lifegainers. Target for Rancor, Alpha Authority, and
Hunger of the Howlpack
.
Sentinel Spider
: 4/4 swinger that gets tapped during my enemies' end step to pull
Arachnus Web
s for the Spinner. Often gets targeted with Rancor.
Spells:
Rancor,
Arachnus Web
,
Hunger of the Howlpack
, Harrow, Curse of Predation, Alpha Authority,
Evolution Charm
: Duh.
