Exava is a 4/4 first strike, haste card in relevant anti-removal colors (black) and a human. Even with just cacklers she's a scary card to deal with and for only one less mana than Stormbreath Dragon. She's also scary regardless of the match-up which means even if there's a lot of board wipe or removal, she's still a relevant threat unlike Merchant or Fanatic.

Decks like this is why I have 4x Ratchet Bomb on my side board. This is one nasty deck.

Ratchet Bomb is such a hard card to play around. With virtually no way to remove artifacts, or enchantments for that matter, it's most likely going to catch a lot of value.

I've found it to be a really good to stall aggro decks because who wants to play a bunch of creatures they know are going to get bombed? Gives my desk the time it needs to pick up steam.

Despite the high mana cost, I could see Underworld Cerberus being very useful to bring in verses a control deck with a sweeper like Supreme Verdict or Anger of the Gods. You would probably have quite a few creatures in the graveyard for it to bring back.

I did 10 playtests to se how the deck rolls.

The damage output is perfect. Mogis Marauder unblockable is the coup the grace every time.

But there were some issued. Doom Blade dont hit your major enemy, the deck da acctually can block you - Mono Black Devotion. Thoughtseize maybe is a better option all around.

And the mana screw. I got mana screwed 4/10 times, without the red I needed, or without the black. Sure a guildgate is not required? Even if only 2 of them?

Anger of the Gods exiles. Underworld Cerberus doesn't help against that sweeper.

Underworld Cereberus would be a fantastic card in this deck, but no more than 2. Bringing back the Necromancers to hand when Cereberus dies would give this deck some perseverance against control decks which it could use.

So , I tried this beauty yesterday at FNM and did 3-1 ,also I enjoed playing it very very mutch!! I got my prices and im happy but i could go for the 4-0. Damn you Monored!! Damn you!!

I cloned this deck because I had the cards for it but I have to say, even as the deck got me a 3rd place win at my local store, the Tormented Hero cards really held it back.

Overall a really fun deck to use, especially at FNM.

I don't even have it put together anymore. It's really frail.

I tried this deck last week for FnM, went 3-1 and got third place. Tried it again this week, went 2-3 and got second to last place, got mana screwed and had to mulligan almost every round. Not sure what happened, bad luck I guess. When I get a solid opening hand of Mountain + Swamp or Blood Crypt + any other land along with a 1 or 2 drop creature, things generally go really well. But on times like last night, I was getting mana screwed with wrong colors (ex: pulled 5 swamps for my first 6 turns, no mountains in opening hand), or hitting all my Madcap Skills and Lightning Strikes but no creatures. However, this deck played beautifully around an opponent's Possibility Storm . I have not gotten much use out of the Xathrid Necromancer 's ability, I started swapping him out for sideboard stuff like Burning Earth . I am thinking that maybe Firedrinker Satyr might go better over the Tormented Hero .

Also considering Hellhole Flailer over the Xathrid Necromancer , and Thrill-Kill Assassin in there somewhere, as with the original deck by Navas

The answer to Ratchet Bomb is GET THIS Rakdos Charm ... it also happens to counter other aggro decks.
