this deck is strong and fast but i've noticed i don't usually see a creature until turn 3-5. might want to add some more creatures in Akroan Crusader isn't too bad Phalanx Leader is a good choice as well. Akroan Hoplite is another option as well as Rakdos Shred-Freak . there is also Fabled Hero in the pool of creatures at you're disposal as well. maybe instead of Pursuit of Flight you could use Ordeal of Purphoros ik it needs to build up but that 3 damage could be really useful and the +1/+1 stay with it.

phil2010-Yea I was wondering about more creatures. I think Akroan Crusader would be my choice out of those. I'll looking into Ordeal of Purphoros . What should I take out for more creatures?

phil2010-What do you think about Soldier of the Pantheon . Which one should i use?

honestly it all depends on what kinds of deck you face in the area, if you are facing alot of esper meta then you should probably try out Soldier of the Pantheon . if they are like mono-black/blue then the extra creature from Akroan Crusader that can be enchanted would speed the deck even faster, id advise to try out both and see where exactly you want you're game to go.

This isn't the best card but I could replace Pursuit of Flight it is Lightning Talons

December 8, 2013 11:48 a.m.

I thought about Lightning Talons , but it being a 3 drop is a shutdown. I might try two of it and two Pursuit of Flight and see how it goes.

I was thinking you should use Fabled Hero it's so good. Use it in place of Favored Hoplite

I know it's not the fast card you want but it will work so well for you on turn 4

With double white cost, Fabled Hero is unreliable at turn 3. And the goal of this deck is to be able to win by turn 3 or 4.

honestly i would take out 2 Mountain for 2 Stomping Ground that way you have the off chance of being able to also cast armed//dangerous while still having that red mana

December 22, 2013 6:54 p.m.

I don't want them to block my creatures though, I just need to get damage through.

phil2010 says... #14

i understand but there would be no difference in running the two Stomping Ground other then the ability to cast the other half. which would just add functionality. it does not take away from the deck nor does youre deck become dependent on the other half. you would just have the option.

December 22, 2013 8:56 p.m.

Well, I guess it's an option, but I want to try to keep this deck cheap, and getting Stomping Ground doesn't really do that.

Running 12 enchantments and instants seems like it out outbalance your creatures, which is bad for an aggro deck. How well does this deck actually do in play? Do you sometimes get more enchantments and instants than creatures?

December 22, 2013 10:10 p.m.

Cdbwater-I really only need 1 creature to pull me a win, and drawing into more creatures when I need an enchantment or instant can be annoying. However, just for consistency in my starting hand, I'm considering adding a either few Soldier of the Pantheon (or Dryad Militant to make it as cheap as possible), Legion Loyalist , or Akroan Crusader . I just don't know what I should take out.

Nice deck. I really don't see why you wouldn't run Soldier of the Pantheon over Rakdos Cackler . The cackler has no advantage over the soldier, i can't think of a single situation in which he would be better.

Also i'd like to point out you have another rather nice T3 win in here too (i recognized because it's in my mono white build)

T1 Plains Hopeful Eidolon

T2 Plains Ethereal Armor x2 swing 7

T3 Plains Ajani, Caller of the Pride -3 and swing 14. This turn three could work with a variety of cards, but the flying gives evasion which makes it the best one i believe.

December 22, 2013 10:14 p.m.

Dalektable-I chose Rakdos Cackler because they were cheaper, but I'll take you suggestion and use 4 Soldier of the Pantheon . I took out two Pursuit of Flight for 2 Rakdos Cackler , since I want to run more creatures so I have to mulligan less.

Aakash.Barevadia Budget is a very good reason, but i do definitely advise using them. In my experience they've always been a good play, especially against heavy multicolor decks. Hope he works out for you, also good on keeping a couple cackler's. He is a good card, just not as good as soldier but he still deserves an addition.

Just throwing this out there, but replacing both of your Pursuit of Flight with Lightning Strike could prove beneficial. Your mana curve will stay the same, adds three damage to your arsenal, and when facing other decks like this one, you can remove one of their key creatures! I can, however see why you may not want to do so though.

December 22, 2013 10:23 p.m.

Mizugori-I'll consider Pursuit of Flight , however, the enchantment works with Ethereal Armor , triggers Favored Hoplite 's heroic, which makes a big difference, and has a more lasting affect. But, Lightning Strike is nice removal, so I'll see how well it can do. But I think Ordeal of Purphoros could be better than Lightning Strike , but it doesn't have a good immediate effect.

I do think that Ordeal of Purphoros would be a much better idea than Lightning Strike , thinking about it. The mana curve is still the same, and the synergy is even better. If you can get an Ordeal of Purphoros put it in by all means.

I use Rubblebelt Maaka for my deck. Also, Chained to the Rocks is a god send removal, at least in my deck. Nice work.

Chained to the Rocks is a wonderful removal spell for boros. I am a little curious about the Electrickery in the sideboard? it almost definitely hits your creatures, but only might kill most other decks?
