I made a similar deck for casual play. It's pretty fun to play against my friends. Since I end up playing their deck, if I win, they're still happy cause they feel like it's "their deck" that won. loll. My deck is a bit slow, but actually pretty powerful.

replace the Azorius Guildgate with Glacial Fortress

I'd suggest adding a few copies of Nephalia Drownyard since your deck has a lot of graveyard interaction.

Whats the point of 4 Drowned Catacomb s and 4 Isolated Chapel s if you only have 4 lands with a basic land type? More shocklands, basic lands, are any dual land that doesn't depend on basic would seem more viable.

Nobilior You are actually really right. I thought of that when I put it in, but I figured it would be fine. After playtesting it a bit, it does slow it down slightly. I'll change it. Thanks for your input.

I don't really see the point in Chromatic Lantern :s A couple more counterspells or lands might do better, but your mana fixing should be good enough from your lands for a dimir deck. Maybe Dimir Keyrune instead if you really want an artifact for a bit of help with mana?A bit of milling would also help if you're reanimating their creatures a lot, and if oyu often play multi-way games then Sepulchral Primordial with Consuming Aberration would be great, but it'd give you quite a high-end curve. Anyway, fantastic concept :) gj +1

Thanks! Well, Chromatic Lantern isn't for my cards, it's to help me play my opponent's cards. I definitely agree that I need some milling. Not enough to make it my main win-con but just enough to trigger some abilities.

whenever you can, maybe try to fit 4 Glimpse the Unthinkable to help give you options quickly? just to help.

I could probably take out Soul Ransom and 1x Memory Plunder to put 3x Glimpse the Unthinkable in. Because that card is amazing.

You told me to comment on this deck. But rather then do that I decided that I would rather comment on you. I love how much of a player and deck builder you have grown since we have met, I appreciate that you come up with things that I typically wouldn't attempt. And most of all I appreciate that someone I know is going to have a viable b/u deck haha Well I guess I will comment on the deck. understand Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is fun and splashy and he works in a similar capacity of other cards in your deck, but I just feel his ability don't synergize well enough that he needs to be included.

Another great card for your deck copycat deck would be Phyrexian Metamorph basically a pay 2 life 3 colorless drop (or pay 4 colorless but 2 life is nothing) Clone which is really great. You can take out Daxos of Meletis and make this a dimir deck instead of esper since its your only white drop and put in Phyrexian Metamorph

If you want to ever go standard Dimir check out Dimirritation (2nd place FNM!) it has the same aspect of taking cards, but also milling and counter spelling and removing almost any threat. +1 from me DImir is awesome

I'm ok if it's used to play your opponents cards, but so why not playing some green and red lands ?

Arcane Sanctum comes into play tapped, i think playing ravlands (with green or red) will be better.

Or put them into sideboard ! =)

Well, I had some white cards in there, but I took them out last night and I haven't had a chance to edit it yet. Haha

Though, I did think about that. Sideboarding duel lands would help out a lot actually. I was just going to have all types in there at all times, but sideboarding...why didn't I think of that?! Thank you.
