Ooh, this is gorgeous! Also, great musical choice to go along with the deck! Hahaha.

A few minor suggestions, though:

Puca's Mischief, Vedalken Plotter, and Daring Thief are great cards to add to easily swap permanents.

I'd cut Absorb for simple Counterspell.

Without question, I would remove Starfield of Nyx. It makes your enchantments vulnerable to creature board wipes.

Personally, I don't like Glaring Spotlight, Counterflux, or Wild Ricochet. Neither seems to live up to their potential.

You're missing Illusions of Grandeur :)

Why not play Land Tax? Gives you access to Scroll Tax, the best card draw combo in the game (beyond the normal land fixing it entails).

Daedalus19876- Thanks! I've retired my Aurelia the Warleader Voltron deck, and this is now my "Main" deck.

I've considered Puca's Mischief for a bit now, but I'm hesitant to add it since I'm very picky about when and what I trade with my opponents. Vedalken Plotter was part of the original list, but has since been removed.

Starfield of Nyx has proved very useful for the recursion effect, since I don't currently own a Replenish. Plus it's Opalescence that also retrieves stuff Caustic Caterpillar will inevitably destroy. I will note I had trouble earlier with it after playing Humility as It rendered all of my enchantments useless once they become creatures. ._.

Wild Ricochet has saved games more than once.

The REAL reason I have Glaring Spotlight in here is because a buddy of mine thought it would be fun if he made a Narset deck, and I realized even with all my O'Ring shenanigans, If I can't get around hexproof there's not much I can do but buy time.

Counterflux will makes it way out in time.

I just recently took out Illusions of Grandeur and Land Tax. Why would I do such crazy things? I'll tell you!

  1. Illusions can only hit for 20, and most of the time, my opponents blow it up before I can give it to them. (Return to Dust, Seal of Cleansing, etc)

  2. I removed Land Tax to increase the effectiveness of Equipoise. I do miss my scroll tax, so I'll consider putting it back in.

Thanks for taking the time to look over and suggest things! :) I am CONSTANTLY updating/tuning this deck IRL, so it will always be changing.

Love-in-Theory: Seems like good reasons! You've clearly thought this through.

I'd still put Land Tax back in, though. I know it doesn't play nice with Equipoise, but even as a pure mana-fixing spell there's nothing better. Doubly so when you can donate lands to your opponent with Zedruu.

I never like to donate lands with Zedruu as it can back fire most of the time. Land tax is cute card will scroll rack but there are better draw enablers.

I liek that you took out illusions as it never really works they way you want it to. Early game if you give it away they just let it blow up bc you start with 40 life.

I have revamped my zedruu deck to be as competitive as possible. There is a edh commander tier list on tapped out and they put mine on there as the zedruu deck competitive standard.

Alwasy like seeing you upgrade your deck

I honestly believe that Land Tax could actually be beneficial, especially with Equipoise. It was an unmentioned reason as to why I suggested it in the first place. Donate lands to your opponent, gain benefit from Zedruu. You then in turn have less lands than your opponent keeping Land Tax always active. This will give you the required mana you need that turn or the 3 draw with Scroll Rack. And eventually, if games ever last long enough, you could completely mana screw an opponent with Equipoise; donating 6 basics that don't match your opponent's commander color identity, then phase out the rest of their lands - due to their lands being in so much excess to yours - and basically give your opponent all Wastes for a turn. This almost acts as a Conqueror's Flail if that makes sense?

I understand where you are coming from when it comes to donating lands to your opponent not of their colour identity, but that no longer applies. I believe it was a year to a year and a half ago that the commander rules were updated so that players can add mana not of their commanders colour identity if a land / spell / etc let them add any colour to their mana pool. If the rule wasn't updated Celestial Dawn would still be a killer lockout card for any nonwhite deck.

You might have meant that simply they can't use the mana to it's full potential as it is off colour, and if so I apologise for my misunderstanding.
