Hello everybody! I have been playing 4c gifts for awhile now but felt like the deck was inconsistent unless I bought Iona, snapcasters, and Elesh Norn so I want to expand my horizon.Mainly I just want ya'lls opinion. I am still waiting on a few of the cards, so I have not been able to play test with the deck a whole ton so I am open to a lot of ideas. Right now I am worried about the creatures main boarded and the amount of creatures main boarded.
Questions that concern me:
Should I take out thragtusk for another siege rhino?
Should I take out Wurmcoil engine for Grave titan?
Are these the best creatures I should use?
Please refrain from suggesting expensive cards such as tarmogoyf, dark confidence, liliana, and other cards of that price range. I am changing to this deck to avoid spending a shit ton of $$$. (The deck is already expensive enough)
I am aware of the fact that Blood moon will destroy me and I am OK with that. Fetchlands aren't changing until I can get a playset of polluted deltas.THANKS YA YOU BEAUTIFUL GUYS/GALS!!!!
The main point of the deck is to utilize Gifts Ungiven. Without the card, the deck is basically just "Junk good stuff". Without further adoo, let's talk about it.

CREATURE BREAKDOWN
HIDE Birds of Paradise: Turn one color fixer mana ramper. Allows me to cast Knight of the Reliquary on turn 2 and Gifts Ungiven turn 3 - pretty fucking good.
Scavenging Ooze: In my opinion, this card is a cheaper Tarmogoyf and is pretty versatile for a lil goyf. He can get rid targets of Snapcaster Mage, AND gain life/get bigger. HE is one swole dude.
Eternal Witness: This guy isn't a Snapcaster Mage, but he/she is just as good. I'll glady return any kill spell or creature from my grave to my hand. Yes PLZ.
Knight of the Reliquary: One of the main reasons we are playing junk! She is a powerhouse as well as a tutor, FUCKING AMAZING. SHE WINS GAMES. Oh, sure, I'll go search for my Gavony Township to pump my other creatures... Actually nahhh, I'll go grab a fetch land to make myself even bigger!
I LOVE THIS CARD and feel like it is under appreciated. It can get rid of manlands, Inkmoth Nexus, or any other problem lands just by tutoring up a Ghost Quarter.. so much value.
Grave Titan: He's just a fatty token generator, oh yeah.. and he's got deathtouch which is nice. Also Unburial Rites target.
Tasigur, the Golden Fang: Honestly I don't know how I feel about this guy. He is the only card I do not currently own and don't know if it is worth putting him in the deck. Thoughts?
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite: At first I thought this guy was WAYY TOO expensive and not worth, but then I realized I am a stupid fag teenager and finally opened my eyes. This guy is a pseudo board wipe and honestly always the main target for Unburial Rites.
INSTANT BREAKDOWN
HIDE This deck doesn't just pound your opponent with large creatures until they start crying, it also controls the board while wrecking your opponents face with creatures.
Slaughter Pact: DO I reallyyy need to talk about this card? IT is a neat combat trick that allows you to be tapped out and kill your opponents 8/8 doublestrike creature. Yeah, he will start to cry..
Path to Exile: EXILED FOR ONE MANA FASJFKLHFAI:DJ ANLSHM AS:DHNK BNLSFABM AJ LDKANKFSHNMJF
Mana leak: We are already running blue for gifts, so might as well add in some counterspells. AMIRITE?
Abrupt Decay: Kill that creature. Kill that artifact. KIll that enchantment. NO you can't counter it. KIll that person. KIll that president. Kill Osama.
Gifts Ungiven: The fucking grand daddy card that combines all the ingredients into one to make one smoking hot batch of kick ass cake called: this deck. I will talk talk about the combos in a different tab. This is one hell of a tutor though...
SORCERY BEAKDOWN
HIDE Life from the Loam: Love it. Love it. Love it. This is a great combo card as well as helps with mana if need be. Didn't make that third land drop? I'll loam back my fetch land and grab my third land. Thanks my green little friend.
Lingering Souls: ........ So many orgasms. There is a reason why this card is seen in legacy and modern and that is - VALUE. It creates a board presence as well as a FLYING(mostly unblockable) threat.
Raven's Crime: This card punishes control decks as well as anybody who has a large hand. Combos well.
Thoughtseize: This card basically says "Let me take a look at your hand and shred your hopes and dreams" A key card to get rid of combo pieces as well as anything that looks threatening.
Unburial Rites: Reanimation! TWICE!!!!!!!!! (or cast it once if I either gifts into it or dredge into it... but you get the point...)
+COMBOS+
HIDE Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite

Gifts Ungiven

Unburial Rites
: This combo is amazing and basically a huge reason why people play gifts. Turn five (or four with birds) you can wipe wipe the board reanimate any card in your deck. For those who do not understand why this is possible- it is because the wording of Gifts Ungiven allows the user to search the deck for any amount of cards, which means you do not have to technically find four cards. Instead you can look for two cards and your opponent is forced to choose to put those two cards into the graveyard- allowing for this combo to work.
Raven's Crime+Life from the Loam+Gifts Ungiven+Ghost Quarter: This combo allows us to lockout opponent. You cast loam and gain lands from the graveyard, then you are able to cast Raven's Crime because you have the land supply. You can do this indefinitely each turn as long as you have the mana. if you keep using this combo you can keep exploding you opponent's land with Ghost Quarter which allows you to lock out your opponents if they have a greedy mana base.
Gifts ungiven+Slaughter Pact+Path to Exile+Murderous Cut+Abrupt Decay: Although this isn't necessarily a combo, I really enjoy doing this. Let's say you opponent has a lethal attack and you have no kill spells and 5 lands. You can instantly cast gifts and find these four spells; three of which are one converted mana cost which will most likely allow you to deal with the opponent's creature. PReetty amazing right? And you come out with a net total of one extra card. AMAZING - not to mention it is a kill spell.
God... I love this deck..
Some how this deck is more expensive than my previous gifts... More expensive means better.. right?
