Running about $70 right now, so I intentionally left them out; otherwise, yes, they would be in here. lol

I know, would have loved to put in Black Vise , but it has to stay out and hang out with Gush i guess. They can be banned together. lol

For a Vintage version of this deck, where Black Vise and Gush are not banned, what cards would you take out to put those in?

Probably Frozen AEther and Chronatog . They are in there for a lock to speed up the win, but they're not necessary.

For some extra friend-losing antics, you should add Winter Orb and Trinisphere .

I love using Capsize with the buyback cost so that they no longer have cards on the board as well... totally unnecessary but fun (and you'll eventually have the lands to pay for this 6-mana craziness)

Never posted on here before, but had to comment on Stasis , one of my fave decks ever, so set up a profile just for you! First, piedok is absolutely right. I ran Stasis for a while and Vedalken Mastermind is the nuts. My kill card was Sigil of the Empty Throne . A 4/4 Angel every turn just for re-playing Stasis is no joke. Also, Muddle the Mixture tutors for both Stasis and Vedalken Mastermind . I understand wanting to stay all blue, but I found white was worth the compromise on mana as I had access to Enlightened Tutor to find Sigil of the Empty Throne , Frozen AEther , Stasis and the one-of Oblivion Ring . You probably already know this, but Vedalken Mastermind + Oblivion Ring = NO FRIENDS AT ALL! As for Force of Will , I'm missing those aswell, but Cryptic Command has sooo much synergy in here its as if it was made for it. Those arn't cheap either tho...

Sorry, forget Vedalken Mastermind + Oblivion Ring , Vedalken Mastermind + Reality Acid is far better, and blows up lands! As for adding green like Crivaro suggests, how 'bout Urban Burgeoning ?

This is the deck I will use for all games to troll.

By the way Chronatog says you can use the ability once each turn, so you can use it then repeat on your opponent's turn and mill them... So fun.

Oh and I found it easier to win with Black Vise instead of Chain of Vapor for faster games. But it depends on how you want to play.

Why run Spellbook over Reliquary Tower ? You can easily run 2-4x Reliquary Tower without impacting the amount of spells you run, since your 1 color and only have 4x non-islands right now.

If you can splash red then Ral Zarek is nuts! Check out my stasis deck: Ral Stasis

My deck is a mono blue Stasis-Landstill hybrid, using Hidden Strings to untap lands for fuel.

I happened to stumble upon this awesome take on Legacy Stasis in search of budget alternatives for a friend getting into legacy, and I must say it's pretty cool. I like the lock pieces and how efficient the lock engine is in comparison to the Ral Zarek engine. The lock being Stasis and Forsaken City I find is much more efficient. There is one problem that I have with this deck, and that is it's consistency. If you can afford to spend a bit of money on a few blue fetchlands I would add some Dig Through Times and Brainstorms. Regardless of budget though I would add Ponders. It's essential for pretty much every blue deck in legacy.

Anyways love the list +1.

This is the most ridiculous budget Legacy list I've seen. Super kudos! If you decide on splashing that green Exploration and Burgeoning sound fun.
