I love the tribute mechanic - sitting back and watching my opponent agonize over which option to choose. So I built a deck around it!

Well, actually, I currently have a much less refined version of this deck in my collection. It was my first deck - started with the Insatiable Hunger intro deck from Born of the Gods and tinkered based on what I ran into. This list is to look at how I'd build it if I started from scratch with more experience regarding the strengths and weaknesses of tribute as a mechanic (creatures have great cost-benefit ratio, but for most of them if the opponent chooses counters you just get big vanilla)

This deck is pretty basic. The fun of the deck is in making the opponent constantly making tribute choices. With all the ways you have to get trample, though, the decision is a little harder - it's not as easy as picking counters and chump blocking.

There's a lone Xenagos and Nylea in here because I happen to have them lying around and why not.
