I'm back with a new GUR Face and this time we're speeding it up a bit. I'd like to make this quick yet heavy damage dealing an of course competitive. Let's get down to business shall we?
Creatures (Support Team)
If we want to get our fatties out quick to deal damage then I'm going to want 4x Elvish Mystic and 4x Rattleclaw Mystic to help push it along. The Mystics are a great T1 start to kicking my opponents ass with big creatures early, not to mention Rattleclaw's a fantastic T2 follow up and 2/1 body.
Now I understand some of you might think Courser of Kruphix fits here but I'm not convinced. Great card, I agree with you there, however I don't think she's fast enough and I like speedy damage.
Creatures (Damage Dealers)
I think that 4x Goblin Rabblemaster is a good number for a Temur aggressive build such as this one, he's a fantastic early game threat even though he's weak. To follow up the drops we have 4x Savage Knuckleblade, I really really like this card's power and versatility it has a lot of options that do nothing but benefit me. Our drops start with 4x Shaman of the Great Hunt. I am so happy this card was printed, it convinced me to go with a more aggressive build, a 4/2 for with haste is already a playable card, give an ability like buffing my creatures and card draw and you've got a keeper. And finally our top dog drop is Stormbreath Dragon at 4x. Honestly you can't play red that uses creatures an not have him here, he's got evasion, speed, and power. Check.
Planeswalkers
I've got 2x Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker as my back up Stormy with his NoneGarden Queen and 2x Xenagos, the Revelerl to throw out hasty 2/2 satyrs that annoy the opponent and assisting me in getting out the more costly creatures sooner.
Those Other Cards (Instants/Sorceries)
I decided that Temur Charm is my favorite instant for Temur, so 4x go in. It can help if I want to swing big but my opponent has tokens to weenie their way out, it can also kill an opponents creature if need be, and finally a counterspell. Crater's Claws is my favorite burn spell in standard as of now, that's why there are 3x in here. With the Ferocious creature(s) I'll have in play I can play it as a shock, or a Stoke the Flames for , great card.
Well that's all I've got to say at the moment, I'll be brewing up a sideboard real soon.
Please help me make this deck as good as my other one; This is my GUR Face! | Temur Midrange, if not better. Comments, upvotes and suggestions are welcome.
