Why not runPlatinum Emperion amd watch the world burn around you? Also maybe Pariah's Shield on stuffy doll to protect yourself from your own burns

I was running Platinum Emperion but switched him out for Fortune Thief which essentially solves the same problem in the deck and I've always wanted to play her. I considered Pariah's Shield exactly for what you're saying or maybe for putting on Coalhauler Swine, but without them it doesn't do much and I currently cut Stuffy Doll since it only focuses on one person. This deck already makes people focus me enough because I'm relatively aggro, I realized I don't need the doll to kill them all and it just makes one person saltier at me. Often I have only a couple creatures including Neheb and it's not like I want him to die from the Shield if I don't have a pro-red sword.

I feel like Harsh Mentor should be in this deck, it's just really strong in edh.

It's strong but it relies on them doing stuff on my turn to get real value out of it. I'd rather run Price of Glory to outright discourage opponents from interacting with me. Getting people to 0 life hasn't been a significant challenge in the 9 games I've played so far. Thanks for the suggestion though.

What about Oracle's Vault?

It's just one card that maybe I could play each turn, so no I don't think it's worth it. What would you take out for it? All the card advantage currently in here is superior and usually more reliable. I haven't been hurting for cards in too many situations while testing. Have you built a Neheb deck? What's your strategy?

I'm theorycrafting one... I'm thinking somewhere in between red aggro and burn... not sure how to proceed... Just trying to pick your brain.

DrkNinja cool! I would say that that's actually exactly what I've built here. All the equipment plus Neheb and a few smaller dudes and haste effects gives you Afro and the burn is self-evident.

Ender666666 thanks for taking a look man! I was initially planning to go creatureless actually but there were a few I just had to fit in. Yours is some serious pain haha I would like to see them fight each other.

Shivan Meteor

Del_Shtoive what's the reason for that suggestion? Do you think this deck could use more burn? I feel like Blasphemous Act is clearly superior in literally every situation. Since the meteor hits a creature it doesn't really do anything for the decks main plan. Burn spells in this deck really need to always hit opponents as well as creatures.

Lol Ender666666 two powerful burn decks in 2HG EDH? I doubt almost anyone could stand up to that. Maybe double Baral.

admittedly Blasphemous Act is superior in most situations, but there are a few situations in which paying 9 mana may be unnecessary, such as trying to destroy a single blocker, or creature for 4 less mana. This was just a suggestion that could be put on the maybeboard.

Take my upvote! You've inspired me to start putting together a Neheb deck. Have you thought about Hazoret the Fervent? Good card to utilize if you are drawing dead to pump some mana for 3.

Absolutely I've considered her, especially since this deck could use more 4 drops to smooth out the curve and she hits for 6 with her ability on top of combat damage. But with recent insane price spike and my general distaste for looting I haven't pulled the trigger on trying her out. I'm glad this deck has inspired you and thanks for the upvote! It really is an amazing experience to play; it'll make all your friends jealous :)

I keep forgetting about her price spike. I'm sitting on 4 copies still thinking no one wants the Amonkhet gods (I never really pay attention to the PT or any Standard scene). I feel like I have a good leg up on the start of mine with sitting on Hazoret, a Torch of Defiance and a Blood Moon. There's all the money of the deck right there hahaha
