This is actually really cool. I like this. +1 from me!

Never thought of Varols with Shadow which just fires off amazing with Lotleth. I don't think its worthy of banning Troll, but its pretty awesome.

I was in need for a good name to represent the awesomeness of my idea :D

I know, I know, i just wanted a good name but still, this is a strong idea based on the troll instant graveyard drop ability with Bloodghast s and Demigod of Revenge s.

I dont know how to fit in Putrefy , i was cut it out cuz Maelstrom Pulse maybe it fits in side for mirror matches, but we dont have another troll player in the local FNM-s

Nice deck, another great card that would work with Lotleth Troll is Gravecrawler . I could also see Vengevine working in here as well. :3

Considerable ideas, especially if you play them both. As i finish this deck (1 month) i may buy some of these to playtest it IRL because they both seem to have very good sinergy with each other and with the actual deck itself. I just need to consider what worth of cutting out. :)

Consider cards that don't really work with the graveyard such as Death's Shadow , Vampire Nighthawk , and Vraska the Unseen if your looking to make room. :3

I may stick to Nighthawk. You can emergency scavange to it if you need some health, but Death's Shadow and Vraska the Unseen may worth a cut out.

I'd run 2x Asceticism to make your trolls harder to remove. To make room I'd remove 3x Vampire Nighthawk and add in an extra Gravecrawler to improve your first turn odd's of having a creature out.

Don't like the idea of Asceticism that's why i have Sheltering Word in my side, and I may stick to nighthawk, I really like that card even if it does not have good synergy with this deck.

Wow seems like a lot of fun

I would replace all 4 Vivid lands with 4 Twilight Mire and replace a Swamp and a Forest with 2 Overgrown Tomb . This should help you hit all your double mana cost cards, and the filter lands should help you quickly reach 5 black mana to cast the Demigod.

These lands are expensive for me right now but i give you the point and i'll edit the deck, but i don't know when will i buy them :D Thanks for the suggestion!!

i like, i might run a version of this to start out modern.

This is a nice deck, I like the troll quite a bit. have you considered putting in big guys & re-animation e.g Emrakul, the Aeons Torn + Goryo's Vengeance ? A lot of "Turn 3 Reanimator" runs a similar build. Also, Necrotic Ooze is awesome if you wanted to pitch cards w/ lotleth troll, then play activated abilities like Griselbrand without the trouble of reanimating

Emrakul can't be in the GY. In fact it causes you to shuffle the entire thing in. Most people opt for Grisels instead because he doesn't cause this effect. Reanimator isn't the same force in modern as it is in legacy anyway.

Actually Emrakul + Goryo's combo works, cause when Emrakuls effect triggers after he hits the graveyard, so you can play your instant GV to put him on the battlefield before it resolves. The "problem" is that you don't get the extra turn since you do not cast him.

But still, you hit 15 and annihilate 6...

ChiefBell says... #19

I know it works. But you have to have Goryo in hand the moment you put him in, which weakens it.

I know, but whit this combo, you can win t3 with this deck and this is not an aggro deck. :)

disgusting jaw dropping combinations in here. Love it. Nice deck man +1 from me.

Depending on your budget, I'd recommend 1xMutavault or 1xSvogthos, the Restless Tomb just so you always have a zombie to return Gravecrawler and trigger Vengevine

Mutavault is not a bad idea, thx for the idea. :)

the only time the Emrakul, the Aeons Torn + Goryo's Vengeance combo works is exactly when you put emrakul into your graveyard because once his ETGY ability resolves he's back in your deck. It is a very nice combo and win condition but it has a very slim window as to when it will work.
