Did you actually build a deck abusing the tribal ability behind boar-creatures? You, sir, are a hero. I didn't even know it was possible to have boars synergize. +1 from me for sure!!!

I don't have any strategic card suggestions, but flavourwise, To the Slaughter would be like the blackest of humor here.

Ha ha, thanks, seshiro_of_the_orochi. Making decks out of unusual tribes is one of my more favourite things to do in Magic.

You're right, To the Slaughter does have very nice flavour synergy. I also didn't notice how fantastic the art on it is until now. A shame that it's a lamb instead of a piglet, though. I can't include the card itself because I've yet to build a tribal deck dumb enough that I didn't want it to perform to the best of its abilities but...

It is a thing i really enjoy, too. My latest 'new' tribal is a spider deck using delirium, but i'm trying to get the pieces for a turtle deck and an elephant deck. Kind of hard to do, though. If you enjoy strong tribal decks, you might like My snake deck

I've never tried Spiders and I've looked over the list of Elephants a few times but I've never actually put a list together. I do have a Turtle deck, though: It's Durdles All the Way Down.

It's kind of interesting as you can basically negate all attacks once the deck gets rolling. I'll soon upload the list maybe. I've seen the turtle list, it's great :)

why not use bloodstained mire and windswept heath instead of the mountain valley and rocky tar pit

Because the good fetch-lands are vastly more expensive.

Interesting idea, but you do realize that Gristleback isn't a boar, but a beast. That puts your boar creature count at 16.

Despite appearances, Gristleback actually is a Boar. It was printed as a Beast but creature subtypes are something that get changed from time to time, so it's now a Boar Beast for some reason.

Ok. I figured it had to do something like that since it does look like a boar.

As promised, i uploaded my spider list. If you're interested, you can take a look here: Afraid of Spiders? Better run.

By the way, what do you think about Macabre Waltz? It has some nice synergy with your sacrifice- and cycle abilitties and even helps you fill your graveyard.

Waltz has got decent enough synergy but I don't think it's better than anything already in the deck.
