I'm asking everyone for help. I want to prove that you don't have to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars just to have a competitive modern deck. I have tested this deck on the platform Untap.in and it has won me most of my games against tier 1 or 2 decks. Please do upvote for PSA

Hey Internet, I was thinking about adding 3x to 4x Leatherback Baloth to help with the devotion and to get a 3 drop 4/5 out. Please give your comments on it

With 12 mana generating creatures and 4 Utopia Sprawl i think Karametra's Acolyte is not needed. Your real average CmC is lower.Khalni Hydra is nearly a free cast with all that green permanents and if you add Leatherback Baloth its even better. Buy and try it :D it's not a bad green staple anyway.

Definatly gonna want a playset of Karametra's Acolyte. +1

Lol yeah there isn't any Abrupt Decay to accompany it. Joking aside, nice deck. I don't usually play green but this might be something I try out. Good luck with it! :)

Thank you. I'm taking this to SCG Indy in February

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Triumph of the Hordes maybe? Krosan Grip seems like good sideboard material. Sorry it isn't that budget

It's fine, but Nykthos doesn't work well. I don't get large swings often enough for Triumph, and I was thinking about an artifact boadwipe for Krosan. Thank you

A few possibilities: Strangleroot Geist, Oversoul of Dusk (yes it has devotion to green), and Courser of Kruphix. I agree mana dorks are good for you but 12 (including Arbor Elf may be simply too much. There will be times you only draw dorks and hate seeing more. Also I'm not sure Nylea's Disciple is strong enough for your deck; for 4 mana it can only ever guarantee 2 life and a 3/3 (still in bolt range). I'm sorry if that sounded harsh: I Love this deck and want it to succeed.

Thank you for the suggestions and criticisms, but the mana dorks are necessary to get large creatures out by turn 3-4 and disciple usually gets me somewhere from 8-15 life

I have not updated this deck in a while. I am now starting to have problems against decks like Grixis Delver and Bant Eldrazi. I would like suggestions for mainboard and sideboard changes. Please, please help.

I kept one because sometimes I don't have any of my big stuff out or my opponent doesn't allow it.

Would Fertile Ground be a better substitute for Utopia Sprawl, or do you have that for the draw card purposes? If it's solely for the draw ability I believe there a few other options you could consider, like Heartwood Storyteller and Glimpse of Nature. Regal Force might even be an acceptable card for this deck strategy. Just a thought, but overall it looks very strong.

Thank you, but fertile ground can't be played on turn 1 and isn't modern legal, along with glimpse. I will think about the storyteller for sideboard though. Thanks

For all of you who are wondering, this deck was designed to out-aggro decks like Death shadow zoo, any form of tron, and anything else that just wants to smash its face into a wall and pray to all the gods(and some demons) that they'll kill you
