I suppose I'll test him; he's a pretty good in general kinda guy.

Reveillark hands down. He interacts with a large amount of creatures in your deck! Also, if you're going with Taxmaster Augustin and Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study , Propaganda , Ghostly Prison all come to mind. Last suggestion: Austere Command for versatility or even akroma's wrath for when you're "just done with this board."

Sorry, I have 2 more suggestions after looking closer: Deadeye Navigator and Rite of Replication since you seem to be aiming for ETB effects so much.

Interesting suggestions. The tax sub-theme is purely coincidental, as Mystic Remora works with my general and Augustin works with my colors. I don't know about furthering my building into a taxes build, as it doesn't add more to the flicker-vibe/ artifact sub-theme that I have. Austere Command is a card I forgot about, and it may work its way back into the deck...

As for Reveillark , what would you drop for it?

I'm still trying to figure out why you run Council of the Absolute . Except now that I'm reading it, it interacts with Briego quite well if you need drop a high cost card from your hand.

It's the placeholder for Brago, King Eternal until the card is put on the site. Ironically, it does work with Brago.

Oh wow...

I just posted a Brego deck right underneath yours, let me take a look at what you did different.

Well you went a different direction than I did. I'm surprised you have so little ETB effects, but tempo's not really my style so I wouldn't know.

With all the countermagic you have here, why no Mnemonic Wall and Archaeomancer for abusive recycling? You're also missing your Forbid

I'd also second putting in Deadeye Navigator . With Venser, Shaper Savant it's a repeatable Remand //Boomerang , and if you put in Draining Whelk it's a repeatable Counterspell .

Anyway +1 for liking Brego. Here's my deck if you want to check it out (and maybe give me some suggestions on what to cut): Brago, King Eternal

Also if money's no issue, Vendilion Clique is beautiful with Brego. Thought Prison isn't bad either

Sorry for the triple post, but are you sure about Tsabo's Web ? You have 4 lands it would render useless, and Ichor Wellspring would serve the same purpose.

sonnet666 - Thanks so much for your time and commenting. You make a good point about Tsabo's Web , but I think I'll replace him with Sea Gate Oracle and see how that goes. I'll be sure to check your deck out soon!

Patrique - I'd love to see your build sometime.

Hey, built a Brago EDH as well, except mine is Tribal to spirits, although there are some great cards that you might want to include on your list.

Cauldron of Souls allows you to make really really scary boardwipes happen where none of your creatures die and you can flicker them all, lose the -1's, and do it again some time later.

Duplicant is a great flicker target.

My deck is :

Brago Spirit Tribal Playtest

looks like a cool deck, but the font of your description is really hard to read.

Oops. I'm sorry. I've been experimenting with HTML coding on this deck, but clearly I'm not quite up to snuff yet. I think I've fixed it now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Eon Hub . You never have to worry about cumulative upkeep costs again.

And that hoses some decks that rely on upkeep triggers like that UWR goat

June 15, 2014 1:57 p.m.

FYI: You need to take out one card because commander is a 100 card deck that also includes your commander, otherwise it's 101.

Not sure about Eon Hub , as Brago takes care of them pretty well on his own. But, I might sideboard it, as there's a deck in my meta that upsets me greatly. (A Judge's Nightmare)

X_Elemental-Remix_X: Check again, friend. I have exactly 100 cards including the commander.

June 19, 2014 3:34 p.m.

FOUND IT! lol My bad.

June 19, 2014 5:28 p.m.

Hi! neat deck idea, my friend plays something similar.i recommend mainboarding Palinchron and Deadeye Navigator . As well as Reveillark and Stonehorn Dignitary . these cards shut down more decks than I'd like to admit.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking Ghostway and Nephalia Smuggler . Planar Guide .

Also this may be worth mentioning, but in Hannah decks I've seen people running Decree of Silence and Copy Enchantment . If you bounce them in time, you can essentially set up a very long string of counters.

Enjoy!

Another consideration would be to use Cataclysm if you ever need a semi - reset. It's slightly underwhelming in some decks, but with all these etb triggers you can break things out in the exact manner you please.

:)
