Academy Rector Must Die!

Tymna beats to take advantage of tutors that tutor to top of library. Thrasios is just better than Kydele in every way, and gets used as sac fodder to Natural Order sometimes.

Always attempt to tutor for Flash and Hulk as a priority. But if a piece to a different method is in hand along with a tutor capable of grabbing the other piece, go for that.

Avoid tutoring for Academy Rector unless you can protect the win. Usually 7cmc total to do so. Casting Academy Rector is 4, Diabolic Intent or Altar of Bone or Eldritch Evolution for 2-3, and a counterspell for 0-2

Diabolic Rector combo line:

If you kill Academy Rector for Omniscience while having a tutor in hand then use it to search for Demonic Tutor

1) Use Demonic Tutor to search for Diabolic Tutor or Dark Petition and tutor again for Seasons Past

2) Cast Seasons Past to get two tutors from your graveyard, and put Seasons Past on the bottom of your library.

3) Tutor for Seasons Past with one tutor and use the other tutor to search for whatever.

Steps 2 and 3 are repeatable.

4)Perform the loop to find Assassin's Trophy , Altar of Dementia ,

5)Cast Assassin's Trophy over and over to blow everything up.

6)Altar of Dementia any creature in the loop over and over to mill everyone out

Flash Hulk combo line:

1 Cast Flash with just a Protean Hulk in hand. Hulk dies, and you search for Viscera Seer and Karmic Guide . Karmic Guide returns Hulk to play.

2 Viscera Seer kills it again. Search for Fiend Hunter and Spellseeker if you don't have a tutor in hand, but if you do have a tutor then swap Spellseeker for Grand Abolisher .

3 Fiend Hunter exiles Karmic Guide, and Spellseeker searches for Demonic Tutor .

4 Viscera Seer kills Fiend Hunter, which returns Karmic Guide to play, which returns Hulk to play.

5 Sacrifice Hulk to get Academy Rector and Grand Abolisher . Sacrifice Academy Rector to get Omniscience.

6) Perform the Seasons Past and a Tutor loop

Additional gameplans

Natural Order + dork or Thrasios + Slaughter Pact : Fetch Hulk and Slaughter Pact him. Slaughter Pact is just the cheapest and easiest to tutor for aside from Viscera Seer but any sac outlet works.

Eldritch Evolution + 2+CMC creature + Diabolic Intent or Altar of Bone Fetch Academy Rector and sac it to the tutor.

Sidisi's purpose is for when spellseeker isn't available in the library and we are only able to tutor for a creature. This happened enough for me to justify running it. And on super rare occasion it can kill academy rector for game.

Fiend Hunter and Karmic Guide can loop together with a sac outlet. Sac outlets aren't completely useless in the deck by any means. Because of that, I'm using Altar of Dementia in case my main combo is irreparably disrupted with an Extract or Show and Tell went awry, or just as an additional outlet for Academy Rector or Natural Order. Also allows Enlightened Tutor to search for a sacrifice outlet
