This deck is more a chronicling of a very fun moment in MTG for me so I can revisit the memory in future.

I played a memorable game of vintage cube where I ended up drafting grixis control using Ugin as the wincon, using MLD to set the field in my favour with the iconic wheels and counterspells from blue, and ramp artifacts with Tolarian Academy and Mishra's Workshop. Match 1, I locked out a monogreen creature deck with Winter Orb, wiped the board with Wildfire and then pinged with Ugin for the win in both games. The Winter Orb game went for about 15 minutes of orb lock while I ground out value with Dack Fayden looting, eventually forcing the scoop with my second Burning of Xinye effect as I took over the board with a huge Tolarian Academy. Match 2 I managed to counter Eureka in both games with FoW (one with alternate cost, once with normal cost) and pinging with Ugin for the win, with artifact ramp to get Ugin out early. A clutch Mana Leak saved my Ugin from an Exhume Woodfall Primus.

The deck was an absolute powerhouse despite having Ugin as my only wincon- I have no idea how I managed to wheel a Tolarian Academy in the draft and have a deck with Wheel of Fortune, Timetwister, Time Spiral. Other notable cards were Mox Jet, Force of Will, Metalworker with three different Signets, Grim Monolith and Gilded Locus, Dack Fayden, Burnining of Xinye, The Abyss, Goblin Welder, Dig Through Time, Thirst for Knowledge, Phyrexian Metamorph, Ponder, Memory Jar, Mental Misstep and a bunch of dual lands/fetches.

This is my attempt to relive the glory of that draft with a 'vintage' styled grixis control deck.
