The goal of this deck was to build a deck that included some of my favorite cards and would be fun to play for as cheap as I possibly could. With this in mind, I almost immediately decided on building around Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh  . I knew going into the build process that this deck would not be particularly powerful due to the fact that Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh   isn't very good in a multiplayer format and the weaknesses that red has in EDH, but I knew that the deck had the potential to be a ton of fun if I built it right. Basically what I ended up with was a pile of burn spells, cards that make burn spells better, and some ways to copy burn spells. In the 3 games I've played on Xmage so far, the deck has worked surprisingly well. Players seem to ignore you early on since they know that Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh   isn't particularly powerful, but the power of hitting someone in the face with a Fireball for 10 damage and copying it once or twice was enough to win one of those games. More importantly, the deck was an absolute blast to play. Something about copying massive burn spells is just a ton of fun to me, and it makes this deck well worth the $25-$30 it takes to buy on TCGPlayer.
