Thunderbreak Regent and Stormbreath Dragon work together here in glorious lightning-breathing harmony. This deck ramps quickly into threats like Ashcloud Phoenix , Thunderbreak Regent, and Stormbreath Dragon that cause problems for the opponent by dealing damage in large, consistent, 4-point chunks. The deck aims to fly over the top of opposing strategies, and uses Draconic Roar to force through extra damage, as well as Crater's Claws and Dragonlord Atarka for late-game reach.

Dragons of Tarkir has finally put the Dragons Aggro deck on the map. This version is based on Chris VanMeter's deck that he used to win the SCG Open in Syracuse. This deck is a bit slow to start but punishes its opponents in the mid- to late-game with brutal evasive creatures usually powered out a turn earlier than normal.
