"His crime was silence, and now he suffers it eternally."

Given that my first modern deck was G/W Aura Hexproof, also known as "Bogles", Voltron-based strategies in EDH have always been a blast to play. Voltron is typically seen as a suboptimal strategy for EDH. The accuracy of that perception typically stems from meta and playgroup. This deck, like most voltron decks, won't typically destroy an entire table at once but is very enjoyable in a game with 2 to 4 players. The less players at the table, the better this deck fares, and if you like politics a 4 player game has a nice balance of fairness and negotiation. For bigger tables that I want to play voltron at I typically play a commander that scales better to a bigger table such as my Lazav B/U "Sword Control" deck. The difference being that Lazav has elements of Combo and Control for a longer game, while Thrun is more of a Hyper Offense approach. This deck is a blast because while it encompasses many of the elements of MonoGreen, such as Ramp, Buffs, and Land/Artifact/Enchantment Destruction, it is uniquely Voltron.

This deck seeks to ramp out Thrun as fast and as safely as possible, it is fine waiting to set up support and control opponents through targeted land destruction and interaction. Threat assessment as is as important as ever here, as is politicing with the table in order to prevent the game from becoming archenemy. Pick the most threatening matchup when the game starts and adjust accordingly, hit them hard and fast.

Note: I may test taking out the "Protection from Green" Swords as they don't do very much, can't be tutored for, and are "Non-Bo"'s with all of our green auras and buffs. They are still good enough to warrant an inclusion, especially when Thrun does his best General Grievous impression. Berserk can be used without fear since it says destroy, not sacrifice. Natural order can hit many relevent targets early in the game. I sed to run Worldspine wurm for the the laughs, but Vorinclex, followed by Thrun can often be too explosive to deal with. If nothing else works, fetching for dryad arbor at the end of someone else's turn, suiting it up swinging for lethal is very funny.
