you need to adjust the plains and mountains. the pie chart is a little off.

-1 mountain, +1 plains

or

-2 mountain, +2 plains

Namron88 says... #4

the chart is off the opposite direction he needs more mountains instead of plains

I would say dump the Mizzium Mortars sb and put in Glare of Heresy sb.

It solves a lot of problems in the current standard in a clean fashion.

I dont know dude i think i might be pushing it by doing that, i think this deck is pretty good as far as aggro/lifegain i could be wrong but i think its good without the aurelia's i just feel that this is the wrong deck for it.

Ifthanks for the suggestions, and please let me know if anything comes up

no worries man if that is how it feels for you then no prob no need to try to fix what isnt broken right

you should really consider Glare of Heresy , mortars can get rid of some fatties that are pro white, but against control and G/W its so golden.

I am not sure Burning Earth is such a great card. I mean you want more board presence in form of your awesome life gaining aggressive creatures, no?

Yha man i hear you, i know shes great but damn dude its just that it jut doesnt seem right in this deck, my main focus was to build around Archangel of Thune .

But all homesty man i really appreciate your input dude, if your really thinking that im being stupid by not putting he in let me know.

@ jimaejackel

Thanks for the land advice, that is something i must have missed, i actually just left it even because of Ash Zealot . But none the less i went ahead and dropped 1 mountains and added 1 plains.

Thanks again for your suggestions i really appreciate it.

So if any of you guys had possesion of this deck, what would your sideboard look like?

October 6, 2013 11:42 p.m.

Namron88 says... #15

no worries just remember every removal spell out there can target thune so she is very vulnerable to spot removal and decks heavy with that will wreck the deck all day long unless you have answers for it right away

3x Chained to the Rocks clean removal of creatures.

3x Glare of Heresy Clean removal of any nasty white enchantment or creature or planeswalker.

3x Skullcrack Hate on sphinxes.

2x Pithing Needle Hate on Ratchet Bomb , AEtherling , w/e

2x Mizzium Mortars Blow up bigger shi...stuff.

2x Rootborn Defenses Hate on Supreme Verdict

I actually already have every card for this deck and I am digging it. Already +1 it a while ago. I just don't dig burning earth, you have them on the ropes already enough.

October 6, 2013 11:50 p.m.

Namron88 says... #18

for me it would have been 3 mortars main instead of side the burning earth i would drop one skull crack would be 3 or 4 2 pithing needle maybe 3 if there are big enough threats and maybe an Elspeth, Sun's Champion side against midrange and control her plus is awesome for control and midrange hates her minus plus 2 Assemble the Legion

October 6, 2013 11:51 p.m.

Namron88 says... #19

Rootborn Defenses isnt really needed as Boros Charm is mainboard plus there are 4 of and burning earth forces them to not even try to sphinx and really consider what to counter locking their deck down if it resolves and it is not removed it will kill them on its own Glare of Heresy is great to remove Detention Sphere or anything of the sort that is troublesome long as it is white

October 6, 2013 11:55 p.m.

jimaejackel says... #20

I dont think Assemble the Legion cuts it, sad as it may be (pulled a foil one a while ago). While you and Elspeth are both making tokens she is gonna ult eventually and have bigger flying humans or while you are stalling they might Sphinx's Revelation or your enchantment is gonna get Detention Sphere . I say Glare of Heresy because it ten times more versatile against the current format's decks.

Oh and if its any type of B/W/U or B/W they will have Glare of Heresy for your deck.

October 6, 2013 11:56 p.m.

jimaejackel says... #21

yeah 3 skull crack might be a little too much as they aren't going to cast sphinxes until later and you will most likely have drawn into it by then.

@ Namron88

Ok cool when i get gome ill take tour suggestions to mind and give the sideboard another whirl, i also so happen to own 4x Legion's Initiative do you think i should sideboard that?

@ jimaejackel

What about the sideboard?

My post on the side board is above man. If you don't want the rootborn defenses then go for the glare of heresy or mizzium mortars. I say scrap the burning earth.

If you don't like my other suggestions then perhaps some super utility found in the card Wear / Tear .

@ jimaejackel

Well no need for Rootborn Defenses because i already have the utility of Boros Charm . As far as everything else your suggestions seem to be cool, but just for clarification what do you think about Mindsparker ?
