How is 22 land working out for you as opposed to 24 witch you should probably be running, just wondering.

i really feel that the synergy between trostani advent and voice is too good to warrent taking trostani out of the deck

I would give very serious thought to mainboarding enchant breaks, because theros creatures are like 99% enchantments, and artifacts are too, so Naturalize will become the new Doom Blade . Also, SBing rootborn defenses is a must with all the Supreme Verdict running around.

i actually did just add Rootborn Defenses to sideboard. as theros comes out ill have to look at my mainboard to see what will be replaced for enchantment destruction. i do plan on having some either mainboard or sideboard. probally Pacifism for Sundering Growth

Also, I like your usage of guildgates in place of duals, since they're rotating, I completely forgot about guildgates as something actually useful.

the guildgates actually slow me down since they come into play tapped.

iv rotated them out for now. i really hope they bring in some duel land with theros that i can use. all tho it is not looking good.

They will not be bringing in dual lands in theros, I can guarantee that, they want to steer people away from multicolored decks beyond two colors, with the devotion mechanic and very little multicolored cards. Also, if you want to use non-slow mana fixing, you could do Shimmering Grotto if you really need a certain color and not actual mana multiplicity.

Honestly I'm making a lifegain deck and a token and will be replacing Ajani with the new elpeth. Keep your enemies closer, right?

Look at my deck, I love having Trostani, Selesnya's Voice in it, and you should keep it, because of the instant speed creatures you can put out to trigger Archangel of Thune passive

Sublime Archangel of Thune

Looks awsome. I would not change it much if any, but of corse more big wurms are always nice LOL I would give this a 5 out of 5 for fun and playability.

I have seen a lot of similar decks on Tappedout, and some being GBW. I like the theme, but what about more enchantments? Maybe Ethereal Armor ? It helps Fiendslayer Paladin a lot and hey, making him bigger means more life for Ajani's ultimate! Check out my deck? Its casual and Im on a limited budget. Is it Tokens?

This deck looks awesome and expensive!

You could put Witchstalker in your sideboard for when you are playing against control decks. Just a thought.

This deck is built and running. I'm working on more Scavenging Ooze for it

September 9, 2013 12:02 p.m.

CrimsonHeart says... #18

No Centaur Healer ?

4 Scavenging Ooze may be a bit much, I would round this down to 2-3 since more than 1 in play doesn't add anything.

I would also cut down the number of Fiendslayer Paladin in place of some additional Loxodon Smiter . While you get the lifelink with the paladins, the Smiters are much more effective on turn 2-3. Move some of the Paladins to the sideboard.

Until rotation I would also run 4 Sunpetal Grove in lieu of the guild gates.

using lifelink for the Archangel of Thune getting rid of them or even lowering them would kind of not work well on synergy. plus the first strike on it to get all my others +1/+1 before their damage is dealt.

I would add Ordeal of Heliod

September 24, 2013 10:26 p.m.

jecder says... #23

It's tempting to add Ordeal of Heliod however i would be playing it just to gain 10 life right away due to the fact most of my creatures would already have 3 +1/+1 counters on them. goes to waste. Heliod, God of the Sun < Elspeth, Sun's Champion cost two more but i wouldnt be paying 4 cmc everytime i want a creature out. Mistcutter Hydra would replace my sideboard of Loxodon Smiter . Fabled Hero seams awsome but i only have 8 spells that target creatures and they are usually better off targeting something else. Fleecemane Lion i may use mainboard for the 2 Loxodon Smiter s i have in there already. Soldier of the Pantheon sideboard card for sure.

I think Heliod, God of the Sun & Ethereal Armor is a pretty sweet combo what do you think? I think 4 Loxodon Smiter is needed at all times check out what I have been brewing up lately Return Of The Jedi To SelesnyAggro (Theros)

its nice but it starts deviating from the original theme of this deck which was Archangel of Thune so i would rather have Unflinching Courage and Ajani, Caller of the Pride than the others. yes Loxodon Smiter is awsome for its cost but so is Fleecemane Lion ill go the rather go for the lower cmc with the boostable to hexproof. Mistcutter Hydra is still uncouterable like the Loxodon Smiter and it has pro blue. with some of the modifications im making to this deck it works better than smiter for sideboard.
