It's easy. Take the most aggressive deck in Theros limited, slap in the best aggressive commons in Ravnica, and you've got the best aggressive deck in the format.
Lagonna-Band Trailblazer
is a 0/4 that wears Madcap Skills like a champ. 4/4 evasive guy is always sweet on turn 2.
Hopeful Eidolon is a neat 1/1, has great synergy with Ethereal Armor, and also wears Madcap Skills like a baus. Heck, everything in the deck does.
Akroan Skyguard
is a pretty sweet 1/1. For 2 mana, we get a flyer that can easily take over the game, when suited up with Madcap Skills, Ethereal Armor, even Hopeful Eidolon on this guy is the nuts.
Akroan Crusader
- gives our deck sheer numbers for little mana investments. Combine with
Dynacharge
for maximum damage.
Madcap Skills - the all-star of the deck. The whole reason to be playing red. Evasion, beats, and Ethereal Armor boosts. 'Nuff said.
Gods Willing - save your guy from a random Lightning Strike, Pacifism, or anything really. Also makes for pseudo-Skills to make your guy unblockable.
Lightning Strike - 3 to the dome for reach, or a handy removal.
Pacifism - for those threats Lightning Strike doesn't hit.
Ethereal Armor - huge pumps, and first strike, all for 1 mana. Works great in multiples.
Titan's Strength - triggers Heroic, deals damage, and scrys. Pretty sweet.
Dynacharge
- awesome at making your guys deal damage. Often a 3-mana Lava Axe or even a Fireball for 8.
Plains and Mountain - enable the deck. Not quite basic Island, but this is pauper. Cards have to be inherently weak, which Island is not.
