Sideboard

Let me be the first to introduce you to the WORST Plainswalker in existences!

He's pretty much worthless in the eyes of the entire MTG community! But why should that stop us? He's gotta have a use somewhere right?

First let's introduce the battery cards that fuel the deck.

Faithless Looting & Wild Guesss have very similar roles. Fueling both discard and draw is a huge advantage for these cards.

Lightning Axe while not as potent as the other batteries, comes in handy for board clearing while fueling discard opportunities.

Putrid Imp looks like a waste of time, but is great when the cards for discarding aren't showing their faces. No tapping required, so discarding becomes infinite with no cost!

Last, but not least we have Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded who fuels the "discard/draw" fire with just enough to be useful.

He still sucks tho. Infact the only way he becomes remotely less sucky, is with arguably only one kind of mechanic.

Gorgon Recluse is essentially an old definition of deathtouch. With 4 toughness she beats a lightning bolt and a 1 or 2 drop. Making a discard a 2 for 0.

Reckless Wurm is used for the front lines, trampling over most.

Fiery Temper & Dark Withering are for the pesky drops such as walls that get in Reckless Wurm 's way.

Big Game Hunter is also handy for dealing with anything too big to handle with Fiery Temper or Dark Withering

You can hopefully see the combo coming together. Combining the power of discarding to bring 5 or 4 cmc creatures on turn 3 or 2 is nothing to scoff at. Left untreated, the amount of draw I get from Faithless Looting and Wild Guess results in a field filled with too much to handle.

Turn 1: Swamp into Putrid Imp

Turn 2: Mountain into Putrid Imps ability discarding Gorgon Recluse

Turn 3: Mountain into any number of cards. If there are creatures present I would discard a Fiery Temper either with Putrid Imp or a Faithless Looting. If there are no creatures on board, then Reckless Wurm comes in full force leading in with 8 damage turn 4. Even if the imp is burned with Shock the potential of Wild Guess and (maybe) Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded comes through with enough discard.

Turn 4: Mountain and play either more Wild Guess or Faithless Looting into Fiery Temper and Dark Withering eliminating any threats. Leaving the field open for Reckless Wurm

Of course this does not always pan out perfectly. If required I added a bit of extra meat to the deck in forms of:

Ashenmoor Gouger & Avatar of Discord both were too good to pass up. Potentially a game winner with so much discard potential later in the game.

For the situations where discard is not envious (a rare situation) I can throw a Demigod of Revenge in the graveyard to bring it back turn 5.

Combine the potential of Reckless Wurm Demigod of Revenge and Avatar of Discord, Tibalt's looking less and less shitty right?

I hope you've learned a lesson today MTG player. Even if a card looks shitty. It can still find love!...somewhat.

Disclaimer: I was introduced into MTG in New Phyrexia so I consider myself quite new. Though that won't stop me from finding fun, cheap, and hilarious decks. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated, as the Legacy format is still a vast open black hole to me. Thank you!

Updates Add

After a week or so of changing the deck I've finalized some overhauling on the deck. First off:

no more Wild Guess in favor of Raven's Crime (Might add it back though >.>)

no more Lightning Axe in favor for cards such as Vengeful Pharaoh and Stinkweed Imp that offer more utility.

Finally some new lands were added to the mix including Dakmor Salvage and Keldon Megaliths thanks to I_H8_U_M8's suggestions!

Thank you all for helping!
