The deck uses Suspend ability and have ways to remove time counters to speed things up.
This is my first deck here on Tapped Out. I'm starting to play MtG after a long break and I think this deck would be fun to start with. The idea of this deck is taken from
Trust Me, I'm The Doctor. by
TheLastMammoth which I've modified to my liking. Any suggestions how to improve the deck would be much appreciated, especially what to put to sideboard. The deck insn't play-tested yet.
Cards and synergies:
Aeon Chronicler : The idea is to keep him suspended with Timecrafting or Jhoira's Timebug, until the situation on the board is favorable to play him, for additional draw, what will make him bigger.
Chronozoa and
Deep-Sea Kraken are the main finishers in the deck. Seeing
Chronozoa splitting itself in a hurry through
Paradox Haze is like watching the evolution with a naked eye.
With
Dominus of Fealty and
Greater Gargadon you can steal opponent's permanents, use them against him, then sacrifice them to get rid of them and to decrease
Greater Gargadon's suspend time.
Epochrasite is great persisting card, which goes well with the main idea of the deck.
Jhoira of the Ghitu is the main card of the deck. Allows to play big suspend cards like
Deep-Sea Kraken in an instant. Or keep
Aeon Chronicler suspended longer for less mana.
Jhoira's Timebug , Rift Elemental and Timecrafting are deck's time-counter-manipulative cards. And Paradox Haze is able to double the speed of removing time counters.
Reality Strobe ,
Rift Bolt and
Arc Blade are cards to get rid of the enemy threats until the wheel of suspend is spinning fast and to change opponent's strategy in summoning creatures.
Delay is great against counter-spells, but can help with other threats as well, sending them to exile while you fortify your defences.
Lands:
In addition to Islands and Mountains there are four pain lands (Shivan Reefs), four copies of Temple of Epiphany for their scry ability and two copies of Dreadship Reef, because you can store your spare mana and use it later for Timecrafting and such.
Sideboard:
Clout of the Dominus symbol:U/R against creature destruction.
Two more copies of Delay against controls.
Fury Charm and Izzet Staticaster against tokens and decks using lots of small creatures.
Grafdigger's Cage against ressurection.
Surgical Extraction against combo decks.
Witchbane Orb against burn.
Possible adepts for the main deck aka Maybeboard:
Cyclonic Rift and Ignite Memories for alternative win condition.
