Ah, inspiration. I recently saw and really liked a Modern deck that is gaining popularity; Walk the Aeons. Obviously based on the card Walk the Aeons , the idea is to cast spells that let you take extra turns while also using cards to draw multiple cards each turn, maximizing the effectiveness of your extra turns. The deck also runs so many extra turn spells (ETS) that they can easily be chained for consecutive extra turns. So what can we do on these extra turns? We can increase the loyalty on Jace Beleren while also drawing extra cards, we can draw even more from Dictate of Kruphix, we can play more land, and we can swing away. Ok, that last one isn't the usual win condition of a Walk the Aeons deck, but that's where this one differs. I also didn't like the idea of trying to control the board until I had enough mana to cast Time Warp, so I decided to add green for mana ramp instead. This also gives me some nice aggro options, and my favorite aggressive mana rampers, Noble Hierarch and Lotus Cobra! The added aggro makes the deck much more flexible if my ETS's get countered or don't show up. Also, I just couldn't help myself, so I tossed in one Panoptic Mirror for shenanigans. So without further ado, a breakdown!

[Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey... Stuff]

These spells are the stars of the deck. Nothing quite says "I'm winning" like not letting your opponent have a turn!

Walk the Aeons : Despite being the namesake of the deck, not my favorite ETS. Excellent card for this deck though; if I have enough creatures on the board, then sacrificing 3 lands is possible.

Temporal Mastery: At 7 cmc, it's not great compared to the other ETS's in the deck. However, the chance of drawing it and casting it for only 2 mana makes it worth it. Mystic Speculation helps slightly to make it show up on time, but so does running 4 copies.

Time Warp: This one is my favorite ETS, extremely cost effective. Also a perfect target for Panoptic Mirror , and yes, I know that's mean.

[Draw Engines]

These help me maximize the effects of my ETS's, netting me 2-3 cards every turn. With enough ETS's, these generate far more advantage for me than they do for my opponent.

Jace Beleren: I felt obligated to include a few of these since he has the added bonus of giving me the choice to draw without my opponent getting a card, which can be important early on.

Kami of the Crescent Moon: Doubles as card draw and aggro, so he is a perfect fit for this deck.

Dictate of Kruphix: A perfect fit for the deck, the flash lets me cast it on my opponent's turn after they draw, so I get to be the first person to benefit from the extra card draw.

Mystic Speculation: Not really a draw engine, but it didn't really fit anywhere else. This lets me control my draws to some degree, and easily set up Temporal Mastery to be my first draw.

[Rampers]

Since all the ETS's cost 5+ mana to cast, I feel like mana ramp is very necessary. It also lets me do more during my extra turns.

Lotus Cobra: This is my all-time favorite ramp spell. Not only can it get me more than one mana in a single turn thanks to fetch lands, but it also doesn't need to tap to do so. This guy is a excellent attacker, especially with Aqueous Form keeping him safe from pesky blockers.

Courser of Kruphix: He doesn't actually do any ramping, but he counteracts the life loss from the obscene number of fetch lands and he potentially gives me more access to land, so he synergizes with Lotus Cobra really well.

Noble Hierarch: An excellent card for both ramp and aggro, so definite 4 of.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking: Another great card for maximizing the effectiveness of my ETS's, and it also synergizes with Courser of Kruphix.

[Because I'm Mean]

Panoptic Mirror : The mana ramp in this deck gives me the ability to cast this pretty reasonably, so the obvious thing to do is put Time Warp on it and just end the game like that.

Reclaim: Can grab my ETS's for even more turns and can also be imprinted on Panoptic Mirror if I want to end the game that way.

It would be great to hear your thoughts on the build and even some suggestions for how to improve it! Remember to upvote if you like the deck! Also, please check out my other combo deck, Obvious Combo is Obvious...!
