This is definitely a good deck for a new player, and it packs enough punch to stand a fighting chance. I don't think that Tibalt fits, though. I'd prefer 2 more Vexing Devils just for cheap punch at any time, or Faithless Looting if the draw's important; losing a random card can be frustrating for new players, I'd imagine.
But overall, a very good deck for the purpose it serves.

The deck is nice but especially 4x Cavern of Souls and 3x Bonfire of the Damned are rather expensive for a beginning player...try a cheaper build I guess :)? Or is he rich :p?

a good deck of starters are RDW with Shrine of Burning Rage .. because all he will do is to cast and cast and cast then activate it.. much cheaper too because it can run without rare creatures.. just 1 drop mana will do as long as its red.. that player will also practice to control his cards because when running a shrine of burning rage you must decide when to cast your instants..
try this deck:shrine-of-flames.. the maybe boards are the real main boards.. its just that, i dont have enough money to buy those. +1 from me

Thanks for pointing out Wild Guess. Will be changing that.

Take out Cavern of Souls , its an all red deck. It'd only make the game tougher for you.

No to Koth, this is being built for October. And the Caverns are there so I can still do well against control

Seems like a lot of dead cards IMO. The only redeeming feature of goblins is that they come think, they come fast and they come hard. Take that away and you have nothing.

I am going to find a place for wardriver since he is getting reprinted in M13. And whiteknights, not trying to be rude, but that's the point of a goblins deck isn't it?

sigh ... Vexing Devil .
I wish people would stop playing with that card like it's good or does anything useful for the game-state.

@Zandl
It's a 4/3 1 drop or 4 damage for 1. It's a win/win card all around.

Not when your opponent gets a choice.
There's a reason this card sold for $25 pre-release and now it's been falling consistently down to its current price of $5.50.

Yeah i like the litttle devil but the cost money wise might be tough for a new player and bonfire is expensive too.
