A "Doctor Who" Universe Beyond Precon, this deck is all manipulating time counters with the new "Time Travel" mechanic.

Due to the possible combinations of Doctors and Doctor's Companions in this deck, this breakdown will only discuss the most likely played commanders.

The deck's face commanders, The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler, care about time counters. Whether it's about time counters on suspend card or on vanishing cards, these two card about time. The Tenth Doctor suspends the next nonland card on the top of your deck whenever he attacks, then blast through the counters by using his ability to time travel, allowing you to potential cheat massive cards into play.

Rose Tyler can embrace her calling as the Bad Wolf, getting stronger and stronger for each card with time counters on it, whether it's in play or exiled. By loading up your board with vanishing cards like Four Knocks and Rotating Fireplace and prolonging their counters, you'll show the universe to fear the name "Bad Wolf".

The first back-up commander is The Face of Boe, who allows you to cast cards with suspend for their suspend cost instead of their normal mana value. Considering how suspend cost are balanced to take the long wait time into consideration, this can lead to massive value for you.

Whether you are getting the Judoon Enforcers to slow down your opponents or summoning a Star Whale to protect your board, the Face of Boe will humble your enemies.

The next back-up commander for the deck is Kate Stewart. Like the other commanders of this precon, Kate likes time counters, specifically when you put them on permanents you control. Whenever a permanent gets time counters, you create a 1/1 Solider token. Once you've assembled a board full of Soliders and other creates, by paying you can pump your team equal to the number of permanents with time counters on them.

You'll need to protect your board, and by imprisoning them in The Moment, you'll be able to ensure your board stays loaded until you're ready to strike.

As with all fresh Universe Beyond decks, this deck contains a smattering of new cards, all of which relate to famous Doctor Who characters, places and moments. Perhaps one of the craziest new cards is All of History, All at Once, which take the new Time Travel mechanic to the logical extremes as the next card to feature the brutal Storm mechanic, which creates a copy of the spell for each other spell cast before it this turn. Do this after suspending a number of spells and you'll give your enemies a real quick history lesson!

For those who like clones, there's an amazing new cloner for you, the Flesh Duplicate. For only , you can create a copy of any creature in play! Admittedly, it has vanishing 3 as well but let's be real here, how often does anything survive three rotations of a Commander table? If you can use to get massive value before it goes away (from the vanishing effect or general removal), this might be the best clone ever!

And finally, for those who need an emergency stop button more than anything else, now you can make sure that everybody lives with... Everybody Lives! The latest piece in 's "Don't lose" selection, this grants every creature indestructible along with every creature and PLAYER hexproof, PLUS nobody can lose life and nobody can win or lose this turn. All this for just ! This is certainly a card to look out for!

This precon contains a number of valuable reprints, all of which with a Doctor Who style. Firstly, for those who want to have a magical moment both in or out of game, Wedding Ring receives its first reprint sinces it's debut in the Crimson Vow Commander decks. Whether you want to propose to your real-life spouse or just like drawing cards, Wedding Ring is always useful.

Similarly, Farewell also receives it's first reprint since its debut in the much beloved Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set. A useful boardwipe that can hard reset the board and graveyard, this is one of the best boardwipe printed in recent years.

Following the trend, Clockspinning has finally gotten a reprint since its debut in Time Spiral in 2006! Although not very valuable money-wise, it can prove to be difficult to find a copy of due to how long it's been since it's release.

Overall, this deck is aimed at players who like manipulating counters and cheating out big-mana spells for cheap.
