Timmy, Johnny, and Spike’s Junk - Deck Tech

Goal:
The goal of this deck is to gain counters on creatures while simultaneously ramping. This starts a cycle of playing a creature to scale and ramp larger, playing another larger creature to scale and ramp larger yet, etc. Enemy will be killed by combat damage a huge creature, Ajani’s kitties, or from Jarad sacrificing huge creatures. Ramp is provided by Gyre Sage and Manaweft Sliver. Scaling (creatures and rampers) is provided by casting all larger creatures and is accelerated by Corpsejack Menace, Renegade Krasis, Archangel of Thune, Ajani, Caller of the Pride, and Primeval Bounty. Garruk, Caller of Beasts, provides the card draw advantage to feed the cycle once it has begun.

gives counters to all of your creatures upon each instance of life gain, flying, lifelink
low initial toughness, vulnerable to removal
4x Corpsejack Menace
doubles counter placement and makes those cards even more efficient, causes evolve sometimes, core of the deck
4x Experiment One
easy to cast, very hard to remove, evolves a lot
not that useful if drawn when you need something to trigger evolve instead
4x Gyre Sage
very core of the deck, allows you to ramp and scale and ramp, also evolves a lot
getting the first counter is slow sometimes
4x Kalonian Hydra
powerful creature that doubles counters upon attacking, causes evolve often
vulnerable to removal, low initial toughness
3x Manaweft Sliver
easy to cast, provides any color of mana needed, stacks with itself
not useful if you already have a ton of mana available
4x Renegade Krasis
causes evolution sometimes, gives counters to all other creatures with counters very often, evolves well
vulnerable to removal, low toughness
1x Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
heals you for whatever toughness creature you play, can populate tokens, sometimes causes evolve, great for turning midgame to lategame quickly, or just healing
can be difficult to cast
1x Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Scales with number of creatures in graveyard, can sacrifice huge creatures to end the game
can be difficult to cast
1x Vastwood Hydra
very flexible casting, can cause evolve, relevant nearly all game, gives counters back upon death
2x Voice of Resurgence
relatively easy to cast, very good synergy, powerful token that can be populated
1x Worldspine Wurm
15/15 in a single creature, causes evolve very often, pops out 3x 5/5 wurms with trample upon death, will always go back to your library
probably not wanted in your opening hand
Sorcery (1)
1x Slime Molding
can be used to drop a huge token with leftover mana that can be populated, can cause evolve
Enchantment (2)
1x Death's Presence
makes removal of creatures almost pointless, not only keeps the previous counters, but adds the creatures base power as additional counters to give
1x Primeval Bounty
provides 3/3 centaur tokens upon casting creature, gives 3 counters upon non creature spell, heals for 3 upon playing land
Planeswalker (2)
1x Garruk, Caller of Beasts
filters deck for creatures allowing you to play them in ideal order and gives card advantage, can drop any green creature onto battlefield, can ulti for casting any creature from library for free upon casting a creature
1x Ajani, Caller of the Pride
gives counters, double strike, and flying, release the kitties!
can be hard to cast

fetches lands causing mana fixing and slimming down deck, can give buff or debuff, can ulti for even more mana
can be difficult to cast
2x Abrupt Decay
easy to cast, wide variety of targets
can only hit <4 cmc targets
2x Alpha Authority
gives hexproof and only blockable by one creature at a time
2x Golgari Charm
can clear board of small creatures, destroy enchantment, or regenerate all your creatures
1x Naturalize
easy to cast and destroy artifact or enchantment
2x Putrefy
powerful artifact or creature destruction
3x Savage Summoning
essential against counterspell decks and gives additional counter
1x Vraska the Unseen
broad range removal, defends self, deadly but small tokens
1x Windstorm
kills birds
and only birds
= a lot of them
Maybeboard (4)
1x Diabolic Tutor
can search for anything I need
can be difficult to cast, might not be able to play the located card until next turn, really only useful late game
1x Rise of the Dark Realms
pretty much a win condition
can be difficult to cast, only useful if there are a lot of creatures in the graveyard
2x Strionic Resonator
will double triggered effects
need the extra 2 mana when doing things to activate, not useful until midgame
