alright i'll definitely consider it. so far i relied on Scrying to get Temporal Mastery in a position where i can cast it for its Miracle cost, but you're saying Brainstorm can be used in case i draw it in my opening hand?

Not sure if this would be in budget or not, but a couple of fetch lands would certainly help you out as well. Hold on to it for when you need it, and if you brainstorm away a couple bad cards, you can use the fetch to shuffle them away and still get a land out of it.
And it goes without saying, Force of Will . Most likely not in budget, but worth a shot.

so do you think Evolving Wilds would cut it? this deck is semi-budget, since i really rely on trades from other people to get nice stuff. Force of Will ... i wish haha

Brainstorm will definitely be able to get that card back in your deck should you draw it in your opening hand, since it's draw three then return two.
Evolving Wilds will do just fine on a budget, but should you be able to trade for them Scalding Tarn will be amazing because you can search up the shock lands.

You could go for a few more draw spells to help out your guttersnipe, i run 15 lands, and I mulligan once at most but i always manage to get enough land to support my opening hand through ponders and preordains. After that they fuel guttersnipe, delver, and quirion dryad. Gotta make up for the fact that tarmogoyf gets big really quick hence the dryad... maybe find room for some green in Nimble Mongoose , Land Grant and maybe Deathrite Shaman against reanimator once gatecrash comes out

And Thought Scour is brilliant against decks that topdeck with ponder and brainstorm... messes up their gameplan, instant speed

Play alot of 1 drop spells and sorceries which do a lot of random things, like IE if you want to make your opponent annoyed of how long your last turn is, just do things like draw/discard draw discard until you get other cards, then mill them for 2, etc

Your theme made me immediately think of Chronomaton . Maybe he'll be good for you?

i like the Chronomaton idea; i've been keeping a playset to the side in case i had a use for them. Chrono does mean "time," and they can be useful robot troops that i can pump up each turn.

Random thing, if you are trying to Temporal Mastery with you Guildmage, you can't do that. As even though the Miracle is 1U a.k.a a converted mana cost of the spell is actually 7. Just so you know :D

ah yea that's a shame that i can't copy Temporal Mastery with Izzet Guildmage ... but i believe Echo Mage can copy it once i level him up a bit.

I would strongly recommend Brainstorm instead of Ponder or some other draw spell as it is at instant speed. I only recommend this because you are running Temporal Mastery and Brainstorm can easily place it back in your library for usage a little later in the game.
Personally, I would run Volcanic Island instead of Sulfur Falls but on a budget, it's not really necessary.
All-in-all I think the deck is a really interesting concept and I would love to actually see it played.
