Ezuri was a bandit who turned into a hero after the Phyrexian invasion of Mirrodin. He began organizing his fellow Viridian elves into groups that would fight the invaders and established refugee camps for Auriok, Sylvok, and Vulshok survivors.

The Tiny Leaders format was conceived in 2013 as a format for those who enjoy a challenge when deck building, and love EDH. The rules are simple- 50 card decks, including your "Commander", with no more than one of each card (a "Highlander" format), and no card shall exceed converted mana cost 3.

This is basically a Tiny Leaders version of Legacy/Modern Elves with Ezuri, Renegade Leader taking the slot of Craterhoof Behemoth. Generally Ezuri, Renegade Leader has very favorable matchups against any creature based deck. It has a few difficulties against decks that are very removal heavy and run a lot of sweepers, which is the reason I run a few card-draw options in the sideboard like Sylvan Library, Shapers' Sanctuary and Compost.
