It is a blast to play test. I still need a few more cards. Good looking out, and thanks for the +1. Let me know when you complete it.

I see you have Deadshot Minotaur on the maybe board. I came across Street Wraith earlier. Im assuming you have Deadshot there for the cycle effect, Street Wraith could be a good replacement if thats the case.
Im having a lot of fun working with this deck, thanks for the idea!

Yes sir you are correct. After many trials, it is more effective to have mana ramp than it is to have cycling. Street Wraith has duel purpose since it's virtually free to cycle. Draw in the beginning or at the end.
Get the deck posted so I can see your version.

I imagine ill be editing it for weeks to find exactly what I like, but you could see the rough draft on my profile. Its pretty rough right now, I dont even have the Pact of Negation in, just trying to find the weakest link in the card draw/mana ramp right now.

I didnt realize right away that Street Wraith also increase your chance of getting that much needed black mana because of Chrome Mox . Id say that makes it arguably stronger than Gitaxian Probe for this deck, even though Probe works great with Cabal Therapy for getting rid of opponents counters. I think I like the mana fixing over the seeing opponents hand, although Ill be trying to run both myself.
Just some more of my random thoughts, despite the fact I said I was going to bed almost half an hour ago. My apologies for the multitude of posts. :D

You are correct sir, Street Wraith is a much better card and helps with synergy. I will be switching out my Gitaxian Probe now, thank you. I never considered using Cabal Therapy to pluck counter spells either! I put it in there to pull cards out of my hand that I need in the graveyard. You sir have given me plenty of food for thought.
Don't apologize for the comments. I love to give feedback and love it when I get feedback from people one here. I am 100 times the magic player I was before signing up 9 months ago!
Thanks again! Now go to bed. XD

"Cabal Therapy is one of the most vital cards for this deck because thats how you get critical cards from your hand into the graveyard. What happens if you have 2 Narcomoeba in your opening hand?"
I do still agree that Cabal Therapy is vital, but Im just realizing now that Narcomoeba doesnt work if it hits the graveyard from your hand anyway. Makes Bridge from Below more useful I guess. Just some more food for thought.

I know. That's exactly what make Bridge from Below more powerful. The fact of the matter is if you have 3 Narcomoeba in you opening hand, mulligan.

after playtesting this deck 5+ times...I've decided it is worth the cost to buy the cards in it...gonna start saving up

Thank you teslamon. I agree. It's not a deck I would play often in a kitchen table setting but it is nice for show and tell.
March 7, 2014 10:36 p.m.
I think a second Angel of Glory's Rise is needed in case you draw it in your opening hand probably instead of Cabal Therapy

There would be no point in doubling up on Disciple of Bolas because you already have Azami, Lady of Scrolls as a back up draw mechanic. You missed Dread Return though which is very important to double up if you were to drop the Cabal Therapy
Its pretty much preference whether you use Cabal Therapy or double up those 3 combo pieces. Although Id definitely go the Cabal Therapy route against any deck running 0 mana counters.

Except that you FIRST exile all zombies and then revive humans, making bridge from below useless I think? someone correct me

asuray93, you would sac what ever you had to get cards out of your hand with Cabal Therapy , than you could sacrifice zombies that came out from Bridge from Below to trigger your Dread Return . Not useless.

I love this! I have a friend that plays manaless dredge and he pulls a turn 2 win on me more often then I would like. It's not consistently that fast but it probably happens 1 out of 3 games. Anyway, I just kicked his ass with this. +1 from me.

I took out Tinder Wall to give me another Elvish Spirit Guide . I'll see how it works for a while than put it back in if need be.
