Ha, I know right. Let's just hope I have a Summoner's Pact in my hand. I suppose the odd's are the same.

How would you answer a turn one Tormod's Crypt from your opponent?

Same thing, Summoner's Pact

merrowMania you need to ask yourself, what are the odds? I understand that there's no such thing as a perfect deck. I could certainly use some help with sideboard. This is by no means a tournament worthy deck. It's kitchen table marvel, lol! Thanks for the input. XD

What if you don't have one? Also, what do you do if you draw Dread Return or Laboratory Maniac from cycling?

@friday6700 That's why he included Cabal Therapy , which often nullifies that disadvantage.

friday6700 same can be said about my opponent, what if they don't draw one. It's a game of odds. These are good questions to ask when building up my side board. This is a proficient deck, but far from perfect. LittleLeaf is correct. If I need to sac Narcomoeba to Cabal Therapy , then I have bride from below to assure I have creatures to sac to my Dread Return .

I forgot all about the Cabal Therapy . I really like the deck, and I'd like to build it, but I have no idea how to side for it. With the way the whole deck flows, what would you even take out? Removing anything seems to take away from the turn one kill and leaves you open. Hmm.

I feel like I'm missing something; Summoner's Pact only fetches green creatures and your only green creature is Elvish Spirit Guide which would be in your hand, grave, or exile zone. How do either of these cards help against a Tormod's Crypt and/or a Slaughter Pact ? Also, what odds are involved in tapping your Laboratory Maniac to win in response to a Slaughter Pact which is in response to tapping Azami, Lady of Scrolls to win? This IS a self-mill Laboratory Maniac combo deck, right? Can someone explain to me what I'm not getting here?

Laboratory Maniac is a wizard. if someone uses Slaughter Pact in response to you tapping Azami, Lady of Scrolls , you can respond to their spell by tapping Laboratory Maniac as per the ability of Azami, Lady of Scrolls , and win the game.

Yes, and Tormod's Crypt requires being casted. If they go turn one and cast, I am screwed. There is no getting around that unless I was to trade out for Force of Will I don't have enough blue permanents for that to be feasible. When thinking about sideboard, these are the things that come to mind. Going back to what friday6700 said, I can't really afford to take anything out unless I where to use another concept. I have the Goblin Charbelcher I could go with but I would also need 4x Lion's Eye Diamond and Grim Monolith which I can't afford nor do I want to trade for. This deck is not intended to be tournament worthy but could be with the right sideboard. Suggestions are welcome. Thank you all for good praises and up votes.

This is fun :) I have a Turn 1 Win Series going, too.

As for Laboratory Maniac , only three decks so far: Turn 1 Win Series: Lab Leveler, Turn 1 Win Series: Demonic Laboratory, Turn 1 Win Series: Doomsday Lab

+1 for you, sir.

Thank you! This deck is a blast. It has it's weakness's, one being no sideboard. I would have to come up with another kill condition. I have an idea but my finance's are holding me back. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the +1!

I saw Frampypants version of this deck a few days ago. Unfortunately he hasn't been active in 2 years. I decided to make a budget version. I saw your comment on his deck and though you might want to check it out. All Spells, Zero Lands, Turn One Win (Budgetish) I am trying to increase the odds of turn 1 wins with out increasing the price to much. Mine currently cost ~$145 and the combo activates ~40% of the time on turn 1.
