Sun Droplet should help mitigate some damage until you get Darien, King of Kjeldor in play, then as long as you have a Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant tap away for 1/1 soldiers and mitigate any damage dealt through the life gain.

Divine Presence will stop anyone doing more than 3 damage from a single source, which is fine for us doing 1's and 2's mostly.
