NEED HELP IN SIDEBOARD!
Inspired by all of the Boros decklist in the community
Choices of cards in deck
Champion of the Parish - Awesome 1 drop, very quick, and can be pumped up by the humans I have in the deck, e.g.
Boros Elite
, Silverblade Paladin, Lightning Mauler etc.
Stromkirk Noble
- Removed as I think I have enough 1 drops.
Boros Elite
- Fantastic card introduced in Gatecrash. Really fast card, and sometimes can even be better than a first turn Champion of the Parish.
Legion Loyalist - This is a 1 of in the deck, as I prefer the 3 above as one drops, and a 1/1 body is just slightly too easy to kill. However it is very good card to cast the turn that you want to win, as the first strike and trample are very useful, and why not just make all the creatures cannot blocked by tokens? :)
Lightning Mauler - The soulbond haste is just so useful, that it has to be in this deck. It could bond with my 1 drop and attack for 3-4 damage, or to not bond with the 1 drop and wait for the 3 drop so that it can attack immediately.
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben - Removed from the deck, was convinced by the playtest results and my friends that she is too slow for this deck.
Ash Zealot - Super solid 2 drop, again, a very big counter to decks who relies on flashback or Gravecrawler, takes away around 1/7 of their life total everytime they try to flashback a Think Twice, get the full value out of the Snapcaster Mage, or to simply cast Gravecrawler again from the graveyard.
Boros Charm - I don't think I have to explain this. It's too good in every way.
Searing Spear - My choice of creature removal over
Brimstone Volley
. Although
Brimstone Volley
can occasionally deal 5 damage, but it just isn't consistent enough, and 1R is always better than 2R, RIGHT?
Silverblade Paladin - Oh this card. The wonderful double strikes works with every creature, even the 2/1 Lightning Mauler can deal 4 damage for the attack. Overall very sweet card, a must have in any aggro decks that involves W.
Boros Reckoner - This card is added into the deck after some suggestions from the community. It can 1v1 Thragtusk (which I hate a lot), and it can also take it's token down :) It could also act as a very good blocker when you are forced to play defensive, as it can have first strike whenever you like, and it can also deal a whole ton of damage to the dome blocking a big guy w/o trample.
Frontline Medic
- This card is Wizard's big "SCREW YOU" to Sphinx's Revelation and Bonfire of the Damned. The indestructible is nice, but the counter part is what made it's way into this deck. Sphinx's Revelation just screws up this deck so badly, as it not only regains some life for the control player, it also gives them a lot of card advantages, which is what the control players wants. If they stall until late game, this deck is dead.
Hellrider
- Well... Obvious powerhouse is obvious. This card have proven itself to be superior in a lot of different aggro decks, and so will it in this deck. It just simply reck faces.
Spark Trooper
- Welcome to the magical christmas land of Magic: The Gathering, where you play a Silverblade Paladin on T3 and play a
Spark Trooper
on T4, pair them together, and swing in for 16 and gain 12 life! Overall very strong card, provides "sustain", and a great nuke too!
