Planeswalker (1)

Overwhelm is the name of the game here. Although there are virtually no 1 drops in this deck, that hardly presents a problem. If you have an Evangel in hand on turn 2, it is often better to play it instead of another card at the same mana cost so you can generate a saproling the next turn with the card you didn't play. Just focus on holding up the opponent and building up your token horde through populating. Some might question Mimic Vat, but if you lose one of your best creatures, you can copy it and make a token out of it with Mimic Vat and then use populate to make a nigh-infinite amount of that creature. The side board goes like this: If you're facing a lot of artifacts or enchantments put in Aura Shards and Sundering Growth. Mass Removal put in Faith's Reward and Rootborn Defenses. Flying put in Bower Passage. Enemy horde decks put in Rootborn Defenses and Druid's Deliverance. If you do end up needing a larger boost than Gaea's Anthem and don't mind it being conditional, put in Beastmaster Ascension. Always remember this deck is made for the long game, so don't rush things unless you have to.
