Why is it black? I run a similar deck (you can check it out if you want), only green, and it works great...

Also, you really don't have that many forests to pump up Dungrove Elder...

FAMOUSWATERMELON, Black is for removal. And 20 of my 22 lands are forests-12 basic forests, 4 overgrown tomb(forest swamp) and 4 murmuring bosk(forest).

I would recommend ramp, especially in treefolk since most of the cmc can be around 4-5. So I'd go Birds of Paradise, and Sakura-Tribe Elder. Birds ramps over Bosk Banneret, because its turn one, any color, and is not limited to treefolk and shaman. It can help cast abrupt decay etc. why Sakura, you say? Sakura mana fixes, ramps, and puts forests into play growing your trees. I know your trying to avoid white, but with those two mana fixers and maybe Evolving Wilds you can run two Doran, which boosts power to trees and even the BoP.

Hmmm, indeed Woven. So I'd like to try it with birds, sakuras, and Doran. Say 2 dorans, 4 birds, and 2 sakuras? As far as lands go, should i add any additional W/B sources?

I may be able to get 2 Temple Garden for this. Also, i do have 3 fetches-2 bloodstained mire and a polluted delta, not really what i need for this deck but its all i have.

You could do maybe 1-2 isolated chapel since they are cheap and of course a few plains and test that to see how it runs.

Hmm...I really like this. It is definitely different. Whats funny is I traded for a playset of Dungrove Elder not two days ago so I could start a treefolk tribal deck. Haha. That's crazy. I still lack the cards I need for it, and mine will almost certainly be Golgari based as opposed to Abzan...but this looks sick. Congrats on another great deck!

Only reason for W in here is Doran, the Siege Tower. He makes a big difference in terms of how much damage you can shell out.

I looked up treefolk tribal about a year ago and had a list planned out, but it never seemed feasible, so I put it on a backburner and kind of moved away from it. I may still have the list laying around somewhere though...

I personally think it would be ok. Only problem I see is an early turn play hazard. With the tri-color nature of your deck you really wanna play Vault turn 4. Haha. In my opinion anyway. Though Birds of Paradise will alleviate that somewhat.

Probably as a 2-of, youd really only be getting benefit from mutavault when youve got Dauntless Dourbark or Timber Protector out, and given that theyre 4/5 drops, that wont happen til mid game-ish time. Definitwely wouldnt want it as a 4-of here.
