Well I did have them, but removed 2 for 2 heaths and another for 2nd temple garden.

I think the shock is better than always losing 1 every time I need a W/B.
Anyone think a Woodfall Primus as a 1 of would be good?

Maybe. But you'll never hardcast it. This is basically a Leaf-Crowned Elder deck at this point. I like bosk at 1 or 2. It's kinda like a painland. Except it counts as a forest to buff your trees, it's seachable, it doesn't cost jack to tap for green which you'll use most often, and it feels flavorful. Also, fetchable 3-color lands that can enter play untapped are practically nonexistent. This is a deck that can use one.

Fair enough. Hmmm, would you think should come out for a bosk? A forest?

That's fine since you're not hurting your creatures' stats. 6 basics in a deck with a pronounced primary color is enough to deal with Blood Moon. My vamps can vouch for this.
Speaking of, has it by any chance occurred to you that Vampire Nighthawk is, in fact, a shaman?

It had not occurred to me! That is interesting....

For the sake of my OCD, I'm putting this list back to what it currently looks like.
I am definitely going to be adding: 2 Windswept Heath, 2 Path to Exile, 1 Dryad Arbor, and 1 Dungrove Elder.

I think Mirri, Cat Warrior would work very well for this deck; having the 3 colored cards will make the deck be stopped when the deck started to get it's momentum.

shdowstorm24, I'm not understanding how Mirri fits in a tree folk deck and my mana fixing is excellent ; )
I have always liked mirri though.

Bosk Banneret might be great to get everything out quicker. I play 4 mana-dorks and the Bannerets myself. I think I'd play the full Murmuring Bosk count. It's extra forests for your Dungrove Elders and just gives you all your colours. You've got enough basics versus Path and Moon effects. Maybe swap 1 Inversion for a Crib Swap? it hits creatures that are too big or need exiling instead of just hitting the yard. I like your inclusion of Ulvenwald Tracker. Basilisk Collar is a great card, but I wonder if something that would give evasion is better, since your creatures are huge but don't have evasion.

I hadn't considered crib swap. Thanks a lot for that! I'm gonne test it out for sure. And I keep going back and forth on the murmuring bosks:-2 for the extra overgrown tomb and temple garden, I'm trying to figure if its better to take 2 DMG once or 1 every time I need a W/B. blasphemale

Im gonna use this deck as a basis for a midrange deck to build on mtgo, Im making this comment so I can easily come find this deck list again for suggestions. Have you considered using dismember or beast within? and maybe have some life gain in the sideboard and more fetches. something like dragons claw would be a nice addition in the side as an anti burn card, possibly. and timely reinforcements is a nice life gain cards that works well against decks that will try and go wide. I feel like the dungrove elder wont need to have a power greater than 3 to really be the power house you need. So I think the 8 forests is a little overkill possibly that could be replaced by a few more fetches to thin the deck. maybe path for some removal also. Do love the idea and I am gonna use this as a base to build my own midrange deck too

Thanks PlatonicOrb!! And yes, I've been meaning to add more fetches and PtE but I don't have the funds to do it. As for why no beast within or dismember, I don't have any spare copies not used in other decks(I don't like sharing lol)

fair enough on those points haha. Im using mtgo for my modern builds so I don't have the sharing issue. Im trying 2 dismember in the sideboard and 2 wrath of god and a damnation, that feels like a good amount of removal. Im using a single mainboard orchard warden and 1 in sideboard to test how strong their life gain is. Im also trying a few leyline of sanctity because I had a few and figured its worth testing. I feel like duress and maybe inquisition could have a lot of potential too. I don't see to many creatures being an issue for this deck so thoughtseize is a little overkill. Im trying 4 windswept heath and 2 wooded foothills and thats about the right number of fetches for my tastes. I really like the Murmuring bosks, I only have to acitivate it 2 or 3 times in a game and can always have it untapped when I really need it so I would debate running up to 4

Hello!
The build is nice, it is quite similar to the one I brought for the famous tournament in Milan of 103 people (I am Enrico Polledro).
However, I have currently stopped playing the deck after the arrival of big creatures as Gurmag Angler or Siege Rhino, that forced people to play general removals as terminate for example. The deck has still some potential, but it should be adapted to the new meta made of Ancestral Visions and Thopter Foundries. It soffers also fast card advantages as Kolaghan's Command + Snapcaster + Jace, Vryn's Prodigy.
Remember that a deck that plays not common cards must always be set in order to face decks in the metagame. An independent build is never a good choice.
However, my personal suggestions can be:-Sakura Tribe Elder always in 4x-Treefolk Harbinger 3x if you expect many discard effects in your metagame-Second compy of Ulvenwald Tracker only if you expect many Junk Decks, and not many control-combo decks as Scapeshift for example.-Basilisk Collar is quite useless in my opinion, maximum 1x I would say-Copies of Cavern of Souls could me more than 1, consider the metagame-You have written twice 2x of Nameless Inversion
Enjoy the deck however, and keep improving your build and your play!
Enrico

I myself have started running a singleton Cavern of Souls in my vamps to deal with the resurgence of blue in modern. I've swapped my sided ratchet bombs for Engineered Explosives, as much as that hurts inside, because I do feel at this point that I needed more answers to jund. Currently tuning my sideboard to suit the meta. And the reason I ditched my pulse trackers for Bloodghasts to begin with, is since I don't run hand disruption, I needed more resilience to removal without hurting my creature count.
Long story short, even in fun rogue decks, the previous poster is absolutely right; you have to make some meta calls.

It's actually quite solid in my playtesting. You have dead hands sometimes but you can just mull. Doran is searchable and you can effectively have a 5/5 on turn 3. He's so easy to cast.
