to be honest there is a reason that there is no GP (in my opinion thats the minimum for the adjective "Competetive") deck thats using eg Timber Protector

megonia, there is a reason the terms "homebrew" and "rogue deck" exist.

yes but this is isnt called a Homebrew , rogue Deck or anything similar

megonia strikes me as one of those tryhards who looks at online databases and decides without ever attending an event that the only things that ever win in modern are Jund, Infect, Affinity, Tron, Burn, Delver or Zoo. Yes megonia, this would qualify as a brew. Treefolk decks are something I've never even seen attempted in all my experience. Yes it's tribal, so calling it rogue might be more accurate, but those terms describe anomalies, which this is. Anomalies do occasionally top. A guy apparently top 8'd a GP with a carbon copy of my vampires recently.

No indeed the last modern Gp was won by Skred Red (Skred was before a established deck but no Tier 1-2 deck ) (there are even more great decks like Junk Bant Eldrazi Suicide Bloo Dredge Ad Nauseam Death Shadow zoo Lantern ... and even more) but I really hate the Clickbait. For Example this deck is listed as "HYDRA" deck (see Folders). Also this is called "amazing decks to beat" (see folders).

Doesn't even know the difference between "win" and "top 8". Also you're just rambling incoherently now.

It's in folders like that because people saw this and thought it was awesome. If you're going to get mad at someone for liking something you don't, then you have no business being on the internet. Maybe come back when you have some actual experience with the competitive Modern scene and aren't just some snyde little know-it-all who's all talk and no substance, which is blatant and transparent here.

Well y'all certainly had a lot to say while I was gone ; )Articulate and bringing the points(and knowledge) as always Yamishi ; )

I'll admit that all my modern decks are at least a year out of meta tuning, so there's that at least. I haven't played in forever : (

megonia clickbait? What click bait? You do realize I CANT ADD THIS DECK TO OTHER PEOPLE'S FOLDERS. Only they can. Take it up with them if you don't agree. But as yamishi said, other people on here have really enjoyed this(the week I added it here, it exploded with up votes/comments).

Hallowed, I think this needs revision. The shaman/treefolk gimmick guy (can't remember who's who here) should kinda be more an afterthought as he's pretty slow. I'd run some Hierarchs, you need more mana acceleration, and more ways to hurt opponents. Take my vampires for instance. A lot of games I just sit back and blow shit up until I can start dropping my boss creatures (or, you know, the wombo combo of Nighthawk and Captain Runo Motherfluffing Stromkirk). I feel like you have more than enough power, experiment with ways to make it consistent and faster.

But keep the guy who makes creatures fight. That's a shaman I love in here.

Oh and other guy, you forgot Living End, Azorius control, Gruul, Merfolk, Hatebears, Project Melira, Collected Chord, Storm, Ascendancy storm, F*CKING NAHIRI CONTROL, and several others.

January 8, 2017 11:21 a.m.

Oh I forgot Valakut and Scapeshift too.

Loving this deck! I have found Noble Hierarch and Pariah to be quite useful. Pariah for either destroying an oppponent's creature or just saving life by using it on a big treefolk with high defense.(it reduces the cost too) In any case, the deck is effective and a lot of fun!

Is it called Angry Arbor because you don’t run Dryad Arbor?
