I built this deck to maximize toothy's abilities. Pir is only a support to him. Adding extra counters is not the focus. The deck is aimed towards having a battle buddy so I included so friendly cards, even if your aren't playing two headed giant, you can go out and make a friend.

Clones are put in the deck to clone Toothy. If he has a lot of counters on him and you clone him. You can have the clone stay and the original go back to the command zone. When Toothy leaves you will draw that many cards making the clone enormous while also drawing lots of cards. This action could be paired with Psychosis Crawler to end the game.

I stirred clear of adding planewalkers as I think they are never worth it, as my play group aggressively does what they can to kill them. I put in Nessa, Vital Force because with Pir out she comes out with with 6 counters and you can immediately activate her -6 ability and who doesn't love getting an emblem that makes you draws cards for having land enter the battlefield.

Darksteel Reactor is in the deck because I always put in a jank altered win con. I used to play a lot of Counter Strike back in the day when Steam was only used to find servers to play CS. Every once in awhile I would drop all my weapons and attempt to kill everyone with a knife. I would almost every time but one time I succeeded and I still remember that game. Darksteel Reactor is the knife. It will probably never work but if it does you'll remember that match for the rest of your life because it's hardcore jank.
