A modern artifact-synergy deck.

Decks like these are often referred to as "Affinity" as they often ran cards with the keyword "Affinity for Artifacts". The thing is, none of the cards in this deck have the Affinity keyword. Many of them have the Metalcraft keyword... but I like the name "Robots".

Tips:

• If an opponent would destroy any of your artifacts while Arcbound Ravager is on the battlefield, sacrifice them in response to activate the Ravager's ability.
• If you draw a second Mox Opal, you can sacrifice the first one to Arcbound Ravager and then just play the second one.
• You can often actually make the black mana required to use Cranial Plating's ability to attach to a creature at instant-speed mid-combat to get extra damage through blockers, or to kill a blocker that would survive otherwise.
• Don't forget to turn Inkmoth Nexus and Blinkmoth Nexus into creatures when you have nothing better to spend the mana on. They up your artifact count and can be used to get extra damage in.

Board out Etched Champion when your opponent is playing a deck with many colorless creatures, like Affinity or Eldrazi Tron.

Board out one or more Steel Overseers against decks that can answer it easily, like Burn and Storm.
