Torpor orb to stop enter the battlefield effects and allows u to throw out big creatures that would normally come with a bad side effect. with the proper hand u can get a Phyrexian Dreadnought out turn 1. By putting out a swamp, casting dark ritual, casting torpor orb and then casting Phyrexian dreadnought.
