Yeah, the deck has a couple ways to win so id more than likely just try to win with the scavenge win con if need be. Maybe I should put some Thoughtseize in the sideboard?

Oh there you go, Thoughtseize is a great idea. You could probably just play Inquisition of Kozilek instead or play both, I would definitely main deck at least 2 or 3 of one or the other.

I'm definitely going to do that! What do you think I should remove?

I think you should remove the birds and also tainted strike...you seemed to ignore my opinion last time. Your win conditions are easily countered especially in modern and you have nothing that can really help you besides a really really good draw. This deck is still not working right. Tainted strike becomes useless when your creatures get destroyed. There is nothing to use it for when that happens (happened to me a lot in play-test). A good win con yes if your opponent can't block. Again Tormented Soul unblockable will get through no matter what unless killed, bounced, etc...Can get crazy with the amount of counters you can scavenge. You need cards already suggested Thoughtseize, Duress, Despise, or any similar discard outlets to remove threats from your opponent's hands. That will help the deck more.

I still prefer Grisly Salvage than ancient stirrings because it digs through your deck for a creature you may want instead of just trying to get torpor and it puts things in the grave great for varolz...Maybe leave 2 but add 2 salvages. Read the Bones can be another possible card instead which helps you scry and draw.

I am considering grisly salvage I've ancient stirrings. The deck always works fine for me,the birds have always been big help and I don't necessarily like tormented soul to be honest, although I dont think he would be terrible in the deck by any means.

xKrenko so after testing the deck your way I've decided that you were right! Lol I appreciate your input very much and I think the deck will run much better!

This looks like a g/b version of my Torpor Monster Factory. Nice! Good card for this is Noxious Revival... +1

Id run one tormented soul, as its more of a wincon than anything else here. If you want to speed the deck up a bit you could consider Wild Cantor as it allows for a T2 Varolz, and also is a 'free' scavenge. If you wanted to go more aggro, you could consider Tattermunge Maniac. If you found you were having issues with control/removal, you could consider Scythe Tiger.

If you are having problems with reliably getting a torpor orb out for your 13 bad cards that need torpor to be good, Id suggest running Ancient Stirrings as it finds torpor and is kinda ramp too :P Id drop a few of said big bad guys to put them in.

Birds of Paradise in place of Tormented Soul could be an option. You trade unblockability for evasion and manafixing/ramp.

Ive actually ran birds in place of soul at one point, i honestly liked birds better but its been so long since ive messed with this deck that i just never bothered to switch back lol

Would you consider adding Phyrexian Dreadnought?

Your spell distribution looks good enough to support Traverse the Ulvenwald if you use a few more fetchlands and maybe Mishra's Bauble. Traverse seems great for consistency.

My friend has a deck semi-similar to this. It's a beast of a deck! I love it +1

Demonlords mana is too high for a 5/4. Nothing would be worth removing for it.

I plus one RoarMaster's suggestion to add some Ancient Stirrings, perhaps instead of Grisly Salvage. You really need the Torpor orb to get so many of those creatures to work.

In play testing this deck, one game I was forced to cast Eater of Days giving my opponent 2 turns, after sitting on a hand of four uber creatures without torpor orb for most of the game(otherwise I would have died, and this would even swing for the wing), but the other deck got an answer in those 3 consecutive turns..

Most creative deck I've seen in a while. Love it!
