I have a very similar deck, Death's Menace. Corpsejack Menace really escalates the counters from scavenging. Bioshift provides a fun surprise; attach with 2 creates and when the block the big one move the counters to the other creature, or move the counters to a new creature when targeted by creature removal instants.

I like this deck quite a bit. Nice Job!

I'd be careful about running 4 legendaries, most decks usually run 2-3 if it's the only line in the deck. Might I suggest some Levelers? or if you want to lean more into the discard, Necrogen Mists works really well.

IAMtheBW the reason for running 4 varolz if the same reason baral storm runs 4 baral. He is essential to the deck, on top of the fact that he may get milled away. 4 is necessary. Leveler is an ok card for the deck but i feel like the creatures i have are much better.

Oooooh boy. I have been DYING to see a nice Scavenge deck with Varolz! I will have to use this as reference! Some suggestions that I have as far as scavenge creatures are Lord of Extinction and Skullbriar, the Walking Grave. Both of them will continuously get larger and larger as you play and Skullbriar can even be a possible win con for you, especially if you through in Stitch Together.

an_Elder_Dragon skullbriar would be neat but sadly he isnt modern legal. As for lord of extinction he is a bit to slow but not a bad idea!

Indeed! And if you take RoarMaster's idea of Wild Cantor (even if it is just a sideboard), you could speed him up! I would also highly recommend Corpsejack Menace as derekb79 suggested, or something that proliferates to boost those counters!
