This deck uses a combination of assorted vampires to kill your opponent quickly and then drink their blood.
The creatures and why: Bloodghast this card is evasive to removal, and i can discard it with kologhan's command or lilly. Drana, Liberator of Malakir: this helps the whole feeling of tribalness. in playtesting, getting this out 3rd turn and buffing 3-4 vampires (including itself) with it is very very good. it has flying which is evasion, and first strike, which is important for blocking. Falkenrath Aristocrat: this is here to shock your opponent. play it turn 4 with drana, and your good to go. it can also put bloodghast into a graveyard and deal massive damage. Plus it activates Highborn. Gatekeeper of Malakir: I find this card is good for multiple reasons. first off it is a 2nd turn vampire. and the kicker gets around hexproof and kills a creature. Kalastria Highborn: this is really the only lifegain here. boardsweeps happen and when they do you can deal massive damage. goes well with bloodghast and aristocrat. Stromkirk Captain: the only other tribal card, this gives all creatures fist strike. it removes the threat of bolt that hangs over drana. it also makes your attacks a bit stronger. Plus these add up. When you get more and more, they are all 3/3s and 4/4s and all your other creatures get massively buffed. Captivating Vampire is very helpful. mainly, he is in here as another buffer, but in late game, I can occasionally use his other ability if we are at a stand off, or 1 creature is stopping me from attacking.
