@Daedalus19876 If card price was not a concern, would you've made any changes to the decklist?

SurpriZe: Without question, add a Gaea's Cradle, a Bayou, and the fetches. Beyond that, mostly just further foils XD

@Daedalus19876 Thanks for the answer!
Would you add all the "Pay 1 life" fetches, including the ones that only fetch one of your colors?
Also, are you completely certain you would've made no other change to the decklist at all, even if you had access to all legal EDH cards? Apart from foils of course.
And what do you think about Dusk Urchins, Crumbling Ashes, and Grave Pact/Dictate of Erebos in this deck? Is there anything worth replacing for any of these cards?

SurpriZe: Yeah, there aren't really any other changes I'd make at this moment - I basically own everything I want barring the aforementioned lands, and the deck runs great. Some adjustments depending on meta, maybe?
I've tested Dusk Urchins, Crumbling Ashes, Grave Pact, and Dictate of Erebos - none of them did enough, so they got axed. Dusk Urchins was just a really inefficient way to draw, Crumbling Ashes frequently screwed me over when I was the only player with creatures out, and Grave Pact/Dictate of Erebos didn't do enough without instant-speed sac outlets.

@Daedalus19876 It's great to hear you've tested all those options out, as I've already had concerns regarding their potential but wasn't sure if they should make the cut into my decklist.
Regarding the fetches, would you add all of the "Pay 1 life" dual fetches, including the ones that only fetch one of your colors, or only Verdant Catacombs?

Hi,
i would recommend a Diabolic Intent probably for Pernicious Deed . I tried Pernicious Deed] myself and most times its ugly to use it because it kills my entire board also... . furthermore i would add Song of Freyalise instead of Growing Rites of Itlimoc Flip, as this will give you instant Mana Boost and finally also a deadly Strike. Growing Rites of Itlimoc] i tried myself and for me it was always too slow.
See ya ;-)

SurpriZe: All of the ones that can fetch any of my colors :) so everything except for the three Jeskai ones.
derhealman: Fair point on Diabolic Intent vs Pernicious Deed: I've considered that swap as well, though I haven't ever QUITE decided to do so. I'll pass on Song of Freyalise though: I've never had any issues at all with Growing Rites of Itlimoc Flip :)

derhealman I desagree about Song of Freyalise, Growing Rites of Itlimoc stays longer on the field, add ridiculous amount of mana over time and the +1/+1 is not a deadly strike.

Patolea: Also, tokens have issues with summoning sickness under Song of Freyalise unfortunately.

Daedalus19876 I tottaly agree with you and I think you should consider the Diabolic Intent, I really liked that suggestion over Deed.
Congratulations for the deck again, my playgorup loved when I showed up with this list.

Patolea: I just don't have enough mass removal in this deck - Pernicious Deed has done great things in that role in the past. I am down to add more tutors, but...
(And I'm so glad you liked the deck! It's one of my favorites, and slowly getting more and more foiled haha.)
The real thing that's interesting me is whether Vraska, Golgari Queen is worth the slot over Phyrexian Arena. I'm tempted, given that once I have a few snakes I can protect her relatively well...

Daedalus19876 Now you have a good point, I'm willing to use this baby on Brawl, but the minus and ultimate didn't call my attention in EDH, I think arena is stil a better draw engine. In my list I use Driven and Deathreap Ritual as draw engine, I'm thinking of substitute one of this.

Nice list indeed, +1.
Looks like 80% of my list with some changes. Any idea how to get rid of all infinite combos in the deck without ruining it or making it unplayable? This deck has a lot of strong synergies often leading to infinite combos. That kind of ruins the fun sometimes and I can’t find a way to stop that without ruining the deck.
As far as foiling goes, keep doing that. Currently foiling my Muldrotha deck. It’s freaking expensive and hard to trade for, but damn is it nice to see all that shiny cards :-)

Patolea: I dunno, I feel like a field full of deathtouchers does a decent job protecting her, and that ult is sweet :D the minus seems so-so, but sometimes having extra options is really helpful.
Pikobyte: Hmmm. If you want to run without infinite combos, I'd remove Blowfly Infestation, Quillspike, Ivy Lane Denizen, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed? You'd probably also want less tutors, then. Honestly, I don't think Hapatra is that good if you don't have infinite combos at least as a backup plan. Maybe try a slower, staxier build with Contamination, Smokestack, and some of the newer Golgari cards?

Hi,
i basically dont understand why you dont get rid of your Reanimate Stuff. How do you fill your Graveyard ? If your Commander cant do it and if there is no Buried Alive or Entomb i dont see a Reason going in this direction ? Maybe you could explain a bit more ? You dont need to cheat Protean Hulk 2 times do you ?
I am missing Walking Ballista here for Mikaeus, together with Protean Hulk its deadly right away.
I think you cheat your Creatures by getting infinte Mana or lets say a lot of Mana .. so i would focus on this Topic instead of Graveyard Cheat. If you play Meren of Clan Nel Toth then you need and should also run a Spore Frog. If you remove the Graveyard Cheat, what makes not really sense in my opinion, you have a lot of slots free for Cards like Tooth and Nail and Summoner's Pact for example.

and one more question ? : Beastmaster Ascension destroys your Endless Combos mostly doesnt it ?
October 9, 2018 2:14 a.m.
How is Mikaeus and walking ballista deadly „right away“ with protean hulk? It does simply no damage to anyone without a third card. It just kills itself over and over again.
October 9, 2018 5:13 a.m.
Pikobyte: Exactly, They both enter the battlefield at the same time, Walking Ballista enters the battlefield as a 0/0 and dies. This triggers Mikaeus, the Unhallowed which returns Walking Ballista to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. You remove it and shoot an opponent for one, it died when the +1/+1 counter was removed so Mikaeus, the Unhallowed will bring it back with a new one. Repeat.
October 9, 2018 7:39 a.m.
Oh sorry, that does not work since Mikaeus, the Unhallowed gives Walking Ballista static +1/+1.

derhealman: Hi! Hopefully I can give some clarification.
1) I'm running reanimation because most of my combos are creature-based, so if they get destroyed, I can recur them without much trouble. Not to mention that the deck is deeply, DEEPLY reliant on Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, but if she costs 6+ mana to cast things start getting tricky. It's often easier to let her go to grave then recur her through some other method. Not to mention that if I have Survival of the Fittest, I can dump whatever I want into graveyard and reanimate it. The utility has led me really appreciate the reanimation spells, and in fact consider adding more. This is not a dedicated reanimator deck, though (I've already got one of those).
2) As Odysseus_97 realized, Walking Ballista does not go infinite with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, because of Mikaeus's static +1 boost. I'd also need a free sac outlet (which would make the combo un-fetchable with Protean Hulk without ALSO adding Phyrexian Delver). I have enough combos fetchable with Protean Hulk as it is, no need to add bad ones :)
3) Spore Frog is pretty dead without Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and I'm not usually that concerned about Fogging combats (since I have many good deathtouching blockers as it is).
4) My reanimation spells help me fetch/protect my infinite mana combos. See point #1 ;)
5) Beastmaster Ascension only prevents the Blowfly Infestation combo, though to be fair it does mean I can no longer Skullclamp my tokens. But generally I wait to drop Beastmaster Ascension until I have enough tokens able to swing that it immediately turns on, when it is more helpful than those two aforementioned cards.
Hope that clarifies some things! (I am considering Summoner's Pact, though, btw.)

I was wondering since you have Green Sun's Zenith why not add Dryad Arbor for potential turn 1 Dryad Arbor ramp? Could easily take out a forest for one.

OptimalGreen: Dies to my global -1 placement unfortunately :/ you’ll notice that I try to avoid 1 toughness everywhere I can.
Also, I usually want to use my GSZs for combo pieces, since it's one of the best tutors in the deck.

Just curious, what does Riding the Dilu Horse do here for you? It’s not a bad spell but pumping a single creature and make it unblockable for 1 turn worth the slot and the 100$? Wouldn’t a Whispersilk Cloak do a better job here?
NVM, overlooked it doesn’t end at the end of turn. Still not sure if a whispersilk cloak isn’t better in a meta with a few boardwipes
