Thank you for your comment. I'm running only 3 copies of Geist, because I DO want to be control heavy, and I don't want too many creatures. I chose Geist as my wincon because it's my favorite card. If he resolves, he'll pretty much stay. I'll buy snapcasters when I have the money, because I don't really have it right now. As I said in the description, wrath is an emergency button for example zoo. And in my opinion, it's more value to sacrifice my Geist if the opponent has millions of big creatures, than let him/her swarm you with a creature army, because I do have more wincons and I can start countering or killing them when it's easy to control the board. Remands are on the way though, because I'll get the money for them soon, and I will cut some removal for them. Cryptic Commands are waay out of my budget for now. But thank you for the suggestions. I really do appreciate it.

Hello again, You have a good build as well, i have a couple of questions for you. Question1; what is your thought on your mana base..? specifically why 24 mana sources..? personally for control i whould run a lot more, because you want to be able to chain spells fast and therefore do not want to miss any land drops. question two: why Wrath of God main..? this becaus the Supreme Verdict is uncounterable.I whoud like to hear your thoughts on these questions.Greets!

I like it. Try Lingering Souls. And check out my Esper Spirits. Same colors, IDK.

oltmof Thanks for checking out my deck! Anyway, my mana base is only 24 because I don't have many high-manacost-cards like Cryptic Command or Sun Titan like you do. As you can see in my mana-curve, I don't have many cards with cmc over 3. That's why I don't need that 26 land deck. I'll try with 25 if I'll get mana screwed too many times. And to your second question, the way I see it is decks I need boardclean against are almost never decks that have counterspells. For example zoo or affinity don't have any counterspells, but zoo might play something like Thrunn that can regenerate. That's why I prefer WoG over SV. If I go against a midrange deck that has counterspells and scary creatures, I'll bring SV in. Otherwise I think WoG is more powerful.

cyrusthelin My deck is really control heavy so I don't think Lingering Souls is the right thing here. I'm not saying it's not good, but I just don't see it being that powerful in this deck as it is in other midrange/aggro decks. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I also checked out your deck. Really nice! I do like it.

Unburial rights to go with that gift ungiven? So you fetch up geist rights and two land off gifts ungiven so the bam u can flashback rite and get the geist or tasigur

kellyd73 Thanks for the suggestion, though I don't think it's the right card in this deck. The deck is not based on Gifts, and I might even remove it if better cards come out. Unburial Rites is just too slow for this and I just don't see it being that good in this particular deck. Thanks for the suggestions though!

Spell snare is good for backup some spell for example, geist with snare in backup but i prefer criptyc command because this decks for a lategame you can cast with no problem the command. Good idea os esper congrats. Sorry for my bad english :p

mmcx Cryptic Command is waay out of my budget. When I'll get the money, ofcourse I'll buy them, but since I don't have the money for it yet, they are not it the deck yet. Thanks for commenting though!

This looks more like an esper control deck with Geist of Saint Traft than a geist deck. Geist decks usually jam for geist, cast one as soon as possible, and then Remand the crap out of the opponent while beating down. This is just control with some Geist of Saint Trafts. Not that that is any worse, its just different. Any, first priority is that forth Path to Exile. Then its Lingering Souls. That card is crazy. Crazy. Play it. Don't make me rant about how and why its good. Anyway that's all for now, and I'm only commenting because I like this deck, so +1!

pumpkinwavy, first of all, thanks for commenting and giving this deck a +1!
Yes, this is a control heavy deck and not a straight 'geist deck' and that is because I love control. Anywho, I was thinking about a forth path. No idea why it isn't there yet. I'm still not sure about Lingering Souls because I already have wincons, but I think I'll have to give it a shot.
Lastly, since the last FNM went sooo bad, I was thinking about making this deck a little more geisty by putting one more geist and all that stuff. I'm gonna have to test this more and then make the desicion.
Again, thanks for helping me out with the deck!

I love geist and the deck but i have a few suggestions.
First I would cut Slaughter Pact and a few Esper Charm to play a few more Dismember.
Also have you thought about a Restoration Angel with the amount of sweeper spells your running it's nice to be able to save your geist.

pacamouse Thanks for the suggestions!
I think Slaughter Pact as a one-of is worth it. I've had a few moment when the 0 CMC actually came in handy. Dismember is still 3 mana and sometimes it's hard not to pay the full mana cost of it since I'm killing myself with the lack of fast lifegain. Thanks for suggesting though! it's always appreciated :)
Then for the Resto Angel, I can't cast a sweeper in between the exiling and putting Geist back into play. If it said return it at the next end step or something, it might've worked. That's my perspective, I'm no professional, but that's how I would put it.
July 14, 2015 3:24 p.m.
Ok, I guess a Slaughter Pact could help but I'm wondering why you play Esper Charm I would suggest taking a few out and maybe adding a few more board wipe spells.
July 14, 2015 3:52 p.m.
I don't think I need more board wipes, since I am planning on playing more creatures. Esper Charm is here for two reasons: it draws 2 cards, which is great to do on opponent's end. The second reason for it is Blood Moon. When Blood Moon is on the stack, I tap the mana for Esper Charm, then Blood Moon resolves and I play Esper Charm to destroy it. That's the only possibility for surviving Blood Moon

Oh I see, what creatures are you going to run Snapcaster Mage? Baneslayer Angel?
July 14, 2015 4:21 p.m.
I'm planning on playing one more Geist and Tasigur, and when I'll get more money, I'll buy snapcasters.
July 14, 2015 4:29 p.m.
sweet! Tasigur Rocks
How many snapcasters are you thinking of playing?I would suggest 3.
July 15, 2015 10:25 a.m.
but shit, it was 37,572 cents on TCG! But for real though I like this +1

geist is usually run as a 4 of bc u almost always wanna hav one. Also he's a lot better alongside other creatures ie snapcastor, resto angel and v clique. It also looks like ur list is pretty control heavy and Geist is usually really bad wen ur playing sweepers and rev (ino from experience playing uwr) I wud suggest playing more creatures, cheap spot removal and tempo cards like remand and cryptic command
