instead of animate dead why not play Nim Deathmantle? Also I think there are a few more stop your turn spells like Day's Undoing or Time Stop? Also check out my thraximundar deck you might like something in it or give you some different ideas.

There's no reason why not to play Animate Dead; it's such a cheap and effective card, useful for several stupid combos Animate Dead + Kederekt Leviathan being my favorite. Plus since you're reanimating huge creatures, the -1/-0 is negligible.
Nim Deathmantle is a sweet card, but doesn't interact with unearth very well at all. Since my primary methods for negating unearth's downside involve ending the turn with Sundial of the Infinite and various blink effects, the Deathmantle won't trigger very often and kind of weighs down my mana available with that expensive alternate equip cost. This is also not a Zombie tribal decklist, so I don't get any benefits that way.
Day's Undoing is completely counterintuitive to this deck; it shuffles my graveyard into my library. Ideally, I want as many creatures in my graveyard as possible for reanimation, and I can fish out instants and sorceries back with things like Izzet Chronarch and Archaeomancer.
Time Stop is just too expensive at 6 mana. It only does one thing, and I can get that thing done in a much cheaper fashion with other cards (Conjurer's Closet, Displace, Deadeye Navigator, Sundial of the Infinite).
That being said, thanks for checking out my decklist!

Hey I would try a Diluvian Primordial the able to take spells from your opponents graveyard is just to powerful. Also it is a reimate target/blink threat.

Yeah, I used to borrow a friend's Diluvian Primordial for this deck, and it definitely made its impact as a great reanimation target. Unfortunately, he wanted the card back, but if I get my hands on one soon I'll definitely include it. Thanks for commenting!

Hey I have one question for you why is there one basic mountain in the deck. I am finding that I need red mana alot more than black, could the mountain count and least two or three

There's only four cards in the deck that use double red mana (Combustible Gearhulk, Cruel Ultimatum, Inferno Titan, and Reforge the Soul), and the card cost tracker on this site indicates I have more than enough red mana sources from nonbasic lands (more if you count mana rocks), so I find using a single Mountain to be enough. Also, I just added Polluted Delta, so now you can fetch Smoldering Marsh or Blood Crypt as well.
I use black mana a lot when setting up lethal combos, especially Buried Alive targeting Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Rune-Scarred Demon, then using either reanimation or copy effects to tutor my combo pieces of Bojuka Bog and Living Death for black devotion lethal.

Sad to see Kederekt Leviathan go, but I couldn't find anything else to remove for Demon of Dark Schemes. This new card is really good for multiple reasons, but the main one is to strengthen my devotion to black for my Buried Alive + Gray Merchant of Asphodel combo. If I find I'm losing to effects like artifacts and enchantments more I'll re-include, but for now I need to tailor my wincon.

Added Beacon of Unrest because I previously didn't have any other way to recur Panharmonicon, which is a really important card for the Gray Merchant of Asphodel combo.

I came across your deck and realized I had the majority of the pieces for it! So I built it in honor of the GREAT GOD PHAROH'S RETURN (I have the OG Nicol Bolas in the 99). Great build and this looks super fun!

Touched up the description and updated the comment archive.
Looking for suggestions on what to cut for Kiki-Jiki. I'm thinking Inferno Titan or Sphinx of Uthuun, but they're both really strong when playing the goodstuff strategy. Might require some more playtesting.

Phyrexian Obliterator generates 4 devotion to black.

True, but it doesn't actually really do anything else for me other than provide an extra b mana symbol. The triple-black devotion granters are in the list because they have powerful abilities stapled to them (Massacre Wurm is a mini-boardwipe and punishes opponents when their stuff dies, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is a super-lord with strong graveyard interaction). Phyrexian Obliterator is kind of expensive to get, and will most likely get removed via spot removal before opponents will be convinced to block into it; it also just doesn't scale well in commander.

UPDATE: Acquired a Snapcaster Mage from a guy who longer plays Magic and was willing to part with it for $20. Excellent acquisition; never would've gotten one otherwise!

Would Conqueror's Galleon Flip (for Conqueror's Foothold) or Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed be worthwhile for non-creature reanimation? I feel like those can help add to the count of stuff to bring back those cards to tutor and whatnot.

Well, I can thank Masters 25 for a sick foil version of Living Death with the Tempest watermark and (my preferred) artwork. Let's face it, the Tempest lightning bolt symbol is the most necromantic thing ever. Ordered one, can't wait to add it to the list!

Added Notion Rain and Lazav, the Multifarious, which I was lucky enough to get as my prerelease promo. Once the full set comes out I’ll be including/testing out other surveil cards.

This looks wonderful!!! I cant wait to try my very own iteration! also have you considered running a Volrath's Stronghold, or does it not actually work with your endgame?

fearfactor19 thanks for checking out the list! I haven’t really considered Volrath's Stronghold, mostly due to the price tag ($43 on the low end, ouch), but if I had to swap out a utility land, I’d probably exchange Temple of the False God or Desolate Lighthouse for Cabal Coffers.

I was thinking that Grave Pact would be pretty sweet with It That Betrays and Sheoldred, Whispering One
